AFL (Aussie rules football) was invented in Australia..... by English convicts. In my opinion it's the most physically demanding/brutal of the different football codes. Players can run 15+ kms a game.
I need to get off my butt and order a couple SS washers! The mica washer will do for now...
Looks awesome @vapman! The new packaging looks great too. I always like when things come in a nice fitted box because I tend to store the item back in the box.
@Choughed Haven't we been having the most beautiful winter days?! I was in singlet and shorts today.
These are a few snaps I got while on a recent adventure to the Crawford River in Victoria, Australia.
All the lads I went away camping with loved my vapman. Instant heat is a real big draw...
@kellya86 We are at our coldest time of the year down here in South Australia. My wife, my daughter and I are living at my mothers house for a few months while we wait for the next place to be available - I haven't been relegated to the shed, I'm hiding out there trying to regain some sanity...
@kellya86 I haven't had a chance yet but I did get the EQ out last night so hopefully I'll get a chance to try them tonight.
Results may vary a bit from usual because the ambient temperature in my shed is about 8 degrees celcious in the evenings.
Condensation in the wand is how @CuckFumbustion knows it's time to rip.
The lipless basket screens came from Alan who makes the heat island. Hopefully I'll get to play with them soon.
@kellya86 I'm sure you would be able to fashion a screen press. Maybe a piece of timber with a hole bored in...
My EQ is packed away for the moment because we are in the process of moving. Hopefully in a few weekends time I will be able to get it out and play around. I have some lipless 18mm basket screens to play with. That means less metal mass to heat up and adjustable bowl size. Should be fun.
The EQ...
@killick The easy answer is to get both cores. Alan is pretty nifty with how he breaks up the wood blanks. Depending on size you should be able to get at least 1 wong or stem as well as the vape out of a blank.
VVPS - I just got mine in the mail (I'll post pics when I get some free time) and it...
@little maggie Yes, the hybrid core is the final design of the glass core. Either name is acceptable.
I think when Alan first started making glass cores they had more glass parts but the final design has just a glass cover around the heater and is the 'hybrid' he now sells.
@DrNick420 Sorry for your loss mate. Some real assholes out there.
@Choughed Were you about to take the leap and order a station? It's worth the wait til August.
Check the copper tubes that run into the bowl. Shine a light from under and see if you can see it through the tubes.
Other possible option is a build up of gunk in the middle section. Remove it from the bowl and see if you have draw restriction with just the middle section. If you do remove...
Congratulations Renè on 10 years of vapman production.
I already own 2 vapmans and a station but I'll enter anyway. If I win I'm not sure what I'll do. Maybe gift my pear basic to someone on the forum? And maybe raffle the station off and donate the money to charity?
Anyway, thanks for the...
@A1 I don't think option 1 will function very well. Option 2 would be my pick. I have a gb-187 which is very similar and it's a good pairing for me. I am a former bong smoker so I like a slightly larger can. If you are new to water tools or like a smaller can then option 3 would be good...
@Andrew26 all the glass pieces need to be pre heated. The cyclone bowl and the glass elbow both need to be hot. Forget what the temp says and go by the colour of your abv. The temp sensor is near the heating element so the temp at your herb is lower. The temp gauge is just there for consistency...
