    The Arizer Air

Honestly, I try to avoid dealing directly with Arizer if I can. When I had the major speed of and lack of heating issue with a Solo (M1C model) and explained it to Arizer, they tried to tell me that the behaviour of my unit was not unusual and that there was nothing wrong with the way it was...

    Arizer Solo

Maximum life is what I've always tried to achieve with batteries in any of my devices, when possible, including my 72 volt, 50AH battery bank in my electric scooter. I've had my Solo for just over a year and a 1/4 and I have barely noticed any loss of battery capacity (capacity loss being...

Whoa.. is that "OF charger" something that can be purchased? That looks like a result of a bad connection on a circuit board, or, a fried chip that controls the Solo's program/algorithm.

That is exactly what my initial Solo did!

Here's something interesting to note: When torontorvaporizer.ca replaced my M1C, it was with an M1A! I sent an e-mail response to TV pointing out the model difference and to date, I've never received a response. I even said how much I liked the M1A over the M1C!

I feel for ya, GSH. Was yours an M1C model?

My Solo "throttles down" as well while using the OEM PA. As for how much time elapses before this happens, I don't know yet.

Ignorance is most definitely not bliss in this particular case.

I know. I am convinced that the thermostat is screwed. Being able to acheive well done popcorn tastes should be a realistic expectation of the Solo, isn't it?

    Yes. At least 30 seconds.

My pleasure, Snappo. I still can't believe that Arizer thinks that ON to level 7 heat up in 20 seconds is normal. I just noticed that PV is sold out of Solos. They'll likely restock with the M1C1 versions. Remaining optimistic, let's hope that my particular M1C1 was just a fluke bad unit.

Thanks, stu. I just hope a whole batch wasn't affected.

The model I had/sent back is as follows: M1C1 I was never able to achieve a popcorn taste at level seven. As a matter of fact, I often had to turn the unit back on after the twelve minute timeout just to finish the bowl (all while at level seven).

I timed the ON to 7 time. 17 seconds. Very interesting. I received an e-mail from Arizer earlier today and they stated that what I described (ON to 7 in 20 seconds) was not unusual. Yes! I got a great abundance of vapor on level 7. However, despite that abundance, the vapor was less...

Thanks, Snappo. Yes. I did take a temperature reading with an infrared thermometer and told torontovaporizer.ca and they said that infrared thermometers are "very inaccurate" when reading the temperature of a vaporizer. I also sent Arizer an e-mail 2 days ago with no response yet.

Hi everyone. Have people experienced insanely fast heat up times (like ON to level 7 in 20 seconds) with their newer units? I suspect that my thermostat is defective, but, torontovaporizer.ca says that's not unusual. Ideas? Thanks!
