Anyone remember a thread from like 2012 or so that talked about super cheap but quality hard cases? There was a thread that had a link to hard cases that are identical to the Apache 2800 cases from harbor freight except they had no stickers on them and they were like $13 a piece and a couple...
Is there a refined recipe that people have been using to make their own rezblock? I kept up with this forum for a while but never got around to trying rezblock or the diy version. Now I've got some citric acid and Natures Answer cranberry extract and I cant seem to find a recipe and feel like...
Yeah, it is a bit more of a pain to clean the dish out but we just push the balls around with the q-tip a little bit and we usualy q-tip each dab anyway so not a huge deal. We're down 50 degrees from 565-595 to 515-540. I thought it was hype but now I believe it has to do with the balls...
Hey guys. We've been using our Peak for a few weeks now and we're loving it. It was pretty awesome out of the box but me being me I had to go ahead and mod it. I went for a Sneaky Pete sic insert, a ball cap, a couple 4mm sic "terp pearls" (ball bearings), and I have a rip tide style ball cap...
Anyone else been using these "terp pearls" or whatever the kids are calling them these days in their halos? We've been using a couple 5mm sic ball bearings with amazing results. Pretty awesome how fast you can get the ball bearings spinning around the halos too :)

Massive .01 gram chamber ... haha. Button operation with a paper clip? Is this a gag? April fools of sorts?
What about placing a chunk of concentrate in a cool nail on a rig then heating the hammer up with the ceramic heat rod exposed and dipping the rod into the chunk of concentrate in the cool nail while ripping the rig? Never tried it or owned a hammer but his is how I've always pictured using one...
A better pre-press will result in a thinner, more compact and unison puck. You can choose whatever size pre-press mold you'd like or experiment with a few sizes by using a small piece of pvc pipe of whatever size you prefer and a dowel rod that fits inside the pvc. Set the pvc on a piece of...
With all this battery talk I thought I'd interject my thoughts ... I wont use the ncr18650ga that came with my iq because: 1) the battery meter on the iq unit doesn't work properly when using this battery 2) it has rust forming on the positive end of the battery after a handful of uses 3)...
Or you can go low-pro ...

I use that style adapter and it works great and allows the IQ to sit almost flush inside a 14mm female joint.
Yeah ... they disregard trolls too easily
Yeah they fit in the chamber well and there's really no difference other than the color. Another thing I found odd is that when I first recieved my unit I used an ncr18650b (edit: these are like 5a max discharge) for a couple of sessions...
Yeah, this is what my IQ came with. I just ordered 2 more because the IQ wont heat up with Sony 30 amp batteries at all (VTC5, VTC4 or VTC3). It vibrates and displays battery life when trying to turn the unit on using the Sonys but then the leds go black and nothing happens.
From my few days of experience I've noticed that you need to really pack the herb in the oven/bowl/herb chamber to get nice milky hits ... like I take my pinky finger and compact it into this chamber until full and pretty compact then close the door (which takes a little force to get the pearl...
Seems to me it could potentially add a bit of convection to the vape after the spacer is fully heated as you'd be pulling air through the hot spacer before it hits the herb ... at least that's how it appears to me after watching every youtube review out there. My IQ is in the mail right now so...
I don't know ... maybe I just need to try it but as a scientist you have to understand my skepticism. We are working with inert materials here that will add no flavors to the dab and SiC has higher thermal conductivity meaning you should be able to dab at a lower temp than sapphire while...
What's the reason for needing sapphire? I know it looks nice and sounds "baller" (lol) but the specs are eclipsed by those of SiC. It's more expensive because it takes longer to make but that doesn't necessarily make it better. To me it seems like an unnecessary item for people who leave...
Yup ... I just think to each their own. Quartz isn't going anywhere. Look at the frickin carb caps blowers are putting out now for qcb that people are paying upwards of a grand and more for ... they could get an entire enail setup with SiC, sapphire and quartz yet they choose analog (only...
