bummer. I've broken a couple now too, makes yeah die a little on the inside each time, and count down the seconds until the woodies/tis are ready...
what pics are you talking about regarding the glass with 7 holes?
Nok, the cap is almost ready to touch (like the game hot potato) after the...
I think I prefer the newer inner tube like paytonpenn's video....can't put my finger on why...
It's great that these are getting so close to going out:rockon: George has made a fantastic little invention here, a big two thumbs up from this van down by the river...
Krazy, I've had to clean the...
Everyone do the vapcap dance!
Happy to hear things went smoothly George, and great news from the manufacturer
A woodie would be pleasant to touch in the winter too, and as it is below freezing this morning here it's something to consider.
Somehow I manage to forget to look at the...
The anticipation is like static electricity in the air!
I'm excited that 'd-day' as tommy10 put it is almost here.
I've been spoiled (and privileged) to have a basic for as long as I have had, but I can understand everyone else's pent up desire to get one as I have those same feelings about...
The basic is cheap enough to buy one for use aboard then throw it away with no worrying but yes the basic can be completely iso soakable. George turned me on to pipe cleaners also working well to clean it.
The wood one will absorb oils that I don't think you could clean out.
Yes George is...
And you guys thought I was crazy saying I liked the single torch...what's crazy is now i'm back to the triple one.
I concur about this being one of my fav vapes. I'm still on the vapcap challenge of using it as my only vape.
I hope it is some consolation to those waiting that the vapcap is...
The all Ti still looks the same as that photo I'm pretty sure. I got to see how it comes apart and the insides which all come together in a durable nearly unbreakable unit.
I would use the included container to carry the basic around. It's smell proof and protects the vape too. It also...
yes it will all come down to personal preference.
I'm just relaying to everyone that grinding isn't necessary. Yes the extraction is complete, and crumbled up everything is the same color...
With grinding, for me, the avb could turn out too dark for my preference.
I heat toward the end with...
I got to speak with George in person more.
Couple things I came away with:
-no need to grind. It's something we are so used to with most vapes but after George said it's not necessary I tried it and yes I think it works better without grinding. Extraction is amazing really for not stirring...
hey didn't mean to 'correct' you, in the end we are all trying to figure out how this thing works.
I share the feeling that a lower temp cap prob isn't needed just a shift in technique.
Yes from the sounds of it this is the reason for the uneven extraction. If you had the basic you'd see the moisture in the tube before you started to see vapor. It's kind of cool.
Try regrinding it after a few times from the vape and it should grind down further...
My experiments thus far...
Good reviews guys,
I don't ever use the inlet hole as a 'carb' at least on my basic there is very little air that gets in anywhere but the air inlet hole.
Belgianvapor yes I would say it's the completeness of the extraction that makes it smellier then other vapes. The unit itself starts to...
here's what I was speaking on earlier on the energy denisty of butane vs battery:
http://everything2.com/title/energy+density
This shows the catching up that batteries have to go yet.
oh it's my radar (vas is a bitch) but please understand my thoughts above on butane vs electric don't preclude someone from making a great instant on battery powered vape...It's just that even the best of them aren't going to have a battery that will last a week of repeated use like a butane...
Have you tried the daisy torch? Most of the time I prefer that to the triple.
For people wondering about electric vs butane. it's hard to match the amount of energy contained in butane with our current battery technology. No doubt you could rig up something battery powered that will work...
