I've recently bought the Solo. If I turn the heat up high, say to 7 or something, after a while the top half of the Solo gets so hot I can't touch it - not just by the chamber but the entire top half of the Solo. It's ok if I hold it by the base though. Is it normal for it to get this hot?

Thank you for the replies :) I'll send the stem back. I also purchased the standard PVHES and I love my Solo even more now using it. I'm getting much more vapor with it rather than by using the standard stem which surprised me as I thought I'd get less.
