Right on OF.
I've had a carved one before and loved it. But because I lost it I had to replace it. And I 'm so glad I went for the bronze one! That and my solo is what I use and I use them about equal, depending on the mood. All the other vape stuff I have stays in the drawer.
Cheers
It should work, if you're able to construct it the right way. Have a look at the Ubi.
2 holes take in cold (room temp) air and one takes in hot (lighter temp) air.
In the space behind the entrance those 2 mix in the turbulence that arises et voila you have a diffuser.
So yes a fritted disk...
I know I know. All true, in retrospect. But then again I might even order again from them. Verry cheap, official dealer and it's not that they don't honnor their warranty.
@Dreamer, Not everyone lives in Canada or US ;)
@OF in fact with the customs charges (about $40) and extra cost of sending it across the ocean and back (~$80) and the initial cost of ~$120 it's still at bay with the prices I would pay here in Europe. So I'm not really ranting here, just a bit...
Damned, myrubberneck agreed to replace my solo but now I have to pay for the shipping to and from them. (Wich is going to be at least $80...) Is this normal?
I don't see how I should run a stem if the heating element stays cold, As in, I can put my finger in, touching the bottom plate and it's cold. "Running a stem" won't do me any good...
BTW, congratz on your 2 perfectly working solo's!
So I got me a new solo and the thing broke down on me immediatly!
Charged it to the max, ran 2 cycles on 7 to remove factory smell and during the 3th cycle I noticed the temperature dropped although it was still set at 7. The heater just stopped working. I've tried a few times, even tried some...
Got my Bronze Scherlock in the mail today and gave it a test run.
This thing rocks! It has a nice weight to it, excellent view on the bowl, nice piece to look at.
I also bought the RYOT PackRatz Pouch to go with it and it fits perfect!
All in all very happy with my purchase.
Cheers
I use something very similar to this
Grinds perfectly imo
Edit; €0.50 in the recycling shop.
Edit2; Lol, I was lying, it was €0.20 (price tag is still on it and I just checked while using.
Put some milk in a bain-marie (crock-pot; slow cooker,...)
Let your stem sit in it for 20 mins (stir a little from time to time to let the milk flow trough the stem)
Remove the stem
Add a few pieces of chocolate
Let them melt
Drink
Make shure you have a few hours (6-8 should do) before having...

Last time I used my coil was so disapointing. I wasn't to keen on it in the first place. I didn't have any glass, and using it without seemed a PITA compared to my handcarved VG. So I bought the infamous to give it a try with glass.
Instant combustion was my result. I was so disgusted from the...
Did you combust with tobacco? (EU style) or without (US style?)
Supposing it's US style, there 's still allot of 'things' in smoke that aren't present in vapor. Chances are that it's some of those 'things' that caused those withdrawal symptoms the 1st time.
Anyway, it's been a while since my...
