Thanks for correcting me on this, I thought it looked a bit off from the showercap but the closest I could think of. Your probably right about it being one of the OG caps.

The bottom one is not a showercap. It looks like NV's older model carb cap, older than the showercap.

Moisture is the enemy of destroying bowls in one hit. No need for it. I usually let my stuff sit out after grinding for a bit to make sure it goes up like a Christmas tree.

Ayyy, I use a Möbius Ion Matrix myself, boy these guys stack. I love mine. I may need to experiment more with my showercap, but usually I didn't like the restriction the cap added. I run between 630-660 and can get nice dark brown abv in one or two hits. My Colorado weed be dry as hell...

That is SICK. Makes me want to try and make one myself. My NV wood handle looks like yours, but I've had it since they released. Still works fine, but chipped towards the bottom. Do you find the custom one causes a lot more heat soak when you cap it?

I have a FP SH and have had it for a good bit. My experience is very different than yours. I always cap for the reasons why we use carb caps in dabbing....lower pressure = lower boiling points. And I have just the opposite take....I get thicker vapor with the cap than without. I run at 700 F...

Are you using the same coil on both controllers? At one time I had 3 NV controllers and I could not tell the difference between any of them with the same coil and head. Do you do an auto tune after you switch coils and or heads?
