I got one of the attys to fire up by holding the button down and then screwing the atty on. Did that reset it? It's on the charger now taking a charge, so yeah the battery. It did seem like last two times I charged it, that it went green too quick. Wiil find out soon enough. Regardless, I am...

I wondered if they could have turned out cleaner. That soak was over 3 hours. As long as they function properly, I don't care if they look brand new after cleaning, though.

So I've been using my ghost for a few weeks now, time to put up a review. I bought mine at the SoCal Medical Cannabis Cup -- they had a booth and were running promotions, and they were the first booth with NO LINE giving out free hits of wax. They put a little rice grain sized load on the...

Hey guys just wanted to check back in The replacement Dr. D sent me for my original one I lost worked out great for me. I did notice some slight differences from the original pen I had from the Dr. The packaging had some minor changes and the button that I previously said lit up the whole car at...

I usually just dip a Q-tip in iso and swab it out. I don't know if submerging it for any length of time is advisable. But I've never felt the need to....

Do a search here for posts containing ISO (Edit** evidently ISO is too short of a search term....just click [0]=4977&c[thread]=10680']this link), posted by me (Purpl3_Haz3) and you should get some good ideas on how to clean the heater, and what to avoid doing if you want your heater to stay...

Update on ISO soak I just soaked a heater again (been re-soaking one heater several times as a durability test, before I continue to recommend this as a cleaning method...) and it's starting to peel now... Soooo, unless you want silver stuff, don't ISO soak the parts of this pen for any length...

Update on ISO soak in regards the durability of the DDghost's coating against ISO... I've continued to soak my heaters in ISO with absolutely no degradation of the coating whatsoever. I have soaked one heater twice now, and both times for 12+ hours (once nearly 24) and it looks and feels...

Yep, me too. I cleaned one of my heaters with a 6 hr soak in 99 ISO, then a short soak in clean ISO. I let dry overnight and did a short burn-off too. Worked like new and tasted likewise. The rubbery coating appears identical to my other heater which hasn't been so cleaned. I just tossed my...

Yes, I soaked a heater, completely submerged in 91% ISO, for well over 10 hours straight; and I noticed no degradation of the awesome black rubbery outer coating of the heater. I just checked, and I cannot tell the difference between the heater that has been soaked and the one that has not... :)...

Really? You soak the entire heater in ISO overnight? This must affect the rubbery plastic coating? I do have to agree though with the advice to avoid too much manual cleaning. It's easy to take it too far and pull at the wick threads. So, ISO soak appeals, but ... Ouch. That so sucks. (Good...

My point with the long soak is to avoid having to use any kind of pick or dabber to do manual cleaning. I figure that soaking in ISO can't really do any damage, where as poking and scraping, one would be likely to nick a lead on the coil, or something, and do damage. I think that leaving it...

I don't know. I haven't used a G-Pen other than hitting it, haven't cleaned one. I know that I just did this and had no nasty burn off...my guess as to why you got one would be either A: You didn't get it clean enough, leaving a combo of resin/ISO to be burnt off...nasty. B: You got it cleaned...

Yes, and yes. I soaked one overnight in a small container of ISO, and yes, of course the wick absorbed it...And then I rinsed it with clean ISO, a few times, and let it dry thoroughly. Once completely dried ( I waited several hours. Once it was as dry as it seemed like it was gonna get, put...

Hell yeah. Easiest is to slide the mp end into an inch or so of standard 7th floor hose tubing (3/8" inner diameter) and upside-down it into a 14mm joint and hit it. EDIT: mvapes, oh now I see that you were asking if anyone ELSE has adapted it to water. EDIT2: I picked up some "Reserva Privada...

We've noticed that if you do soak the whole piece in alcohol, the rubber does peel a bit. I would recommend if you are using the alcohol to just pour directly into the ceramic dish and let it sit over night.. Then take out and dry and then attach back to the battery and heat until the alcohol...
