Yes they do. 
I haven't eaten any intentionally for over a decade. I like my pickles tart and crisp and white/green on the inside, not yellow. I don't really care for relish either. But tons of people like both. I only eat pickles on really hot days if I am drinking a lot of water. If I get a craving I eat a slice.

There are times in life where we will be exposed to new foods. All food is different but equal.
We can dislike foods base on different reasons but that doesn't mean we should judge them all the same, put them in food groups, call them names and treat them differently.

I also hate sweet pickles, but the sweet and spicy are doable. Garlic are best but not a huge fan of pickles.
Out in NJ I go to a deli that had Half/Half pickles? They are size of pickles, and are slightly pickled, but taste more like cucumber. They are awesome, cucumber is way better when it's not a pickle.

Dill is where it's at. I have made my own Brine's a couple times in the past two years, but I can't seem to get my garden to ever produce many pickled cucumbers so I end up buying them which makes me feel like I should just buy dill pickles instead. A homemade brine allows you to get the perfect cucikle!
