Scott ask the EE's if the Xtar VP4 is ok to use with the Haze batteries? Will it affect the warranty on either the Haze or batteries? Will it shorten the lives of the batteries?

If you ever want to make your own concentrate, Rosin Tech is super easy to do a small amount. And I LOVE making my own BHO, It's my personal Favorite! You can get a rosin tech setup by stealing your girls flat iron for the night. A good BHO setup will run a little more but well worth it IMHO. I love my flower but it just wouldn't be the same without a can sandwich! Lots of info here and on a few other forums on the subject if you ever get the urge.
Enjoy your haze! I suggest at least 2 extra XL batteries and a 4 bay charger if you are a heavy user.

The right hand bay of my haze charger was only getting 1 battery up to 4.17 volts. Bay # 2 and #3 were actually just pulled from a fresh full charge on the Haze charger. I was able to correct it, the VP4 brought it up to 4.20. The Haze charger isn't bad at all, I will still use it as a car charger but this one is a bit more accurate and 4 bays is nice.

This Xtar VP4 is the Tits!

I can see myself looking into making my own BHO in the future. For now I'm going to go for flower and hasj. My girlfriend already wants one of her own. Which amazes me because she was very skeptic towards a vaporizer and so far she only vaped some dried mint :)

So I'll probably will get us a few extra batteries and a four bay charger would become a necessity.

Really liking the Haze so far. I also like experimenting with different flower and packings. All in all great fun.

We cannot comment on chargers that we have not tested. The charger provided with the Haze kit was selected to ensure the maximum life of our batteries. We cannot speculate on the safety or performance of using another charger so please use caution as these Lithium Ion batteries are serious business.

I have been using Lipo batteries for many years for RC Helicopters and Multi-rotors as well as flashlights. There is no danger in using a high end Lipo charger with these batteries shortening the life of the cell. In fact my Hyperion ($129) or my Imax B6 ($55) do the best job at charging just about any battery I have. Over or under charging the voltage are what causes the issues with lipo cells and the better the charger, the more accuracy you get. As long as you keep the charge rate 1amp or under your fine there (depends on capacity and cell quality) and as long as your charger shuts off at exactly 4.20v any good Lipo charger will work. I prefer charging at .5a and that's most likely what the Haze charger charges at. The Haze charger is fine but don't think it's the only charger that will do the job, or even the best for the job for that matter. Using 6 batteries a day would make charging impossible every night with just the one stock 2 bay charger.

As for a warranty issue batteries have a 90 day warranty, I wouldn't think this would void the warranty.

I charged 4 batteries last night without indecent, I have already used 1 XL battery and it went 2 full bowls and was still going. I always start with a fresh battery for the third bowl on a reg battery, but I might go for a third on the XL. I'm hesitant because I don't like to over discharge my Lipo's. Although the Haze has a low voltage safety I prefer not to ever have one auto cut off so I don't push it. What kind of battery life are you guys getting out of the XL's? Can anyone get 3 bowls all on temp 3 out of the XL's? I thoroughly vape my product so my sessions might run a little long plus they are usually solo with this device. I got 2 out of the regular ones so 3 out of the XL's would be super!

Hey guys, I've had my Haze V3 for about a month now, and I guess I just now noticed, but is the Haze V3 supposed to come with the 2600mA or the 3200mA batteries? I received 2600mA and wasn't sure if I was supposed to be getting the 3200mA ones. The 2600mA are fine and do well, so it's not a big deal if they were supposed to be 3200mA, just wondering.

Oh just got the 18mm version of @Ed's TnT WONG, my HT's all love it! I've said it before but Haze is ahead of the pack to be using Ed in a official capacity, his designs are brilliant. I hope they commission him to make V3 dry stems, I am loving mine. I am having Ed design a 18 MM WONG with the dry stem length. You actually get some extra vapor when it goes down an inch deeper. Can hardly wait.

Almost there...
I clean all my vape stems, baskets, screens etc in 91% ISO in a mason jar.
When it is nice and yellow and has some build up on the bottom i strain it through coffee filters and evap the ISO for a few weeks, usually under a fan for the first week.
Today was scraping day!

If anyone has a Solo and knows the aroma cup, i filled it halfway with dark yellow goo!

Decided to put a large blob in an oil can with a silicone lid.
Start at temp 1 and flavor was really good and flowery, small clouds.
Temp 2 and the flavor was still good and clouds were a bit bigger.
Temp 3 and things start to get interesting! Big clouds with pretty good but diminishing flavor.
Temp 4 was cloud after cloud city! Taste was fair.

Effects were very good with a nice body medicated state.

Finally found a vape that handles my ISO goo well!
Now i won't have to just give it all away every time i make it! LOL!

You know, I've reclaimed from ISO several times before, but no matter how long I evap for I have never gotten good flavor. I use 99% iso. Wonder what I need to be doing differently.

Love, love, love the Haze. The most versatile portable around, and the best customer service! I'll be supporting them for life!

Monk Debate

The monks do be debatin’
I've been loving my Haze! My go to now is to fill one heater with herb, and the other with wax or oil. I'll take a few hits off one, then the other. Even on older, dried herb, the taste is always very nice and there's been no harshness. The highs have been wonderfully smooth, even, and mellow. I'm amazed at how much flavor and how smooth the hits on the concentrates are. My previous concentrate vapes were a vape pen (Dabbler Bros I think?) and the Muad'Dib. Both of those worked but I never got much flavor and there was always some degree of harshness, even when using a bubbler. Not so with the Haze.

Tonight I decided to throw the big guns at it. I've got a syringe full of OG Kush Hash Oil. This stuff is like the black goop from The X-Files. It's thick, viscous, smells awful, and is a total pain in the butt to handle. However, it is extremely potent. I almost never break it out though because it's too thick for the vape pen and honestly even the Muad'Dib just can't quite get it right. With both of those, the hits are extremely harsh, with nothing but a burnt taste. And the highs I got from them were either overwhelming or sinister. So I stopped using it. Until tonight.

It is no knock on Haze to say that the OG Kush Hash Oil still hits with a tinge of harshness to it. I say it's no knock because it's the only thing I've put in my Haze that has had even the slightest edge to it, and also because a tinge of harshness is exponentially better than my other two vapes, both of which hit like I'm vaping from Satan's butthole with this stuff. In other words, the Haze took something that looks and smells like tar and made it as smooth as it's ever going to be. If I were using a bubbler, this thing may even be able to hit full on smooth with this stuff. That's how good it is.

And the taste is, well, it tastes about as bad as it smells. Again, no knock on Haze here as the Haze can't control the taste. Heck, the only reason I'm even talking about taste is because the Haze is so good at delivering the full flavor of every strain I've put into it. It's given me a new appreciation for that element of the experience. Neither the Pax nor the Arizer Solo ever conveyed this much flavor to me. Aside from the hash oil, this has even given me lots of flavor notes on my concentrates, which is a revelation.

In short, this thing absolutely rocks. And with the upgrade program, there's no reason for me to ever switch to another vape or vape company. My hat's off to the entire Haze team.

Wow glad that hash oil mellowed so much in the can for you. The can's mellow everything out. Put it through water for sure. You may also just want to save that oil to drip on to a bed of dry herb and then pillow it with more. The better taste of the bud the better. That way the taste will be disguised pretty well and you can get you high and medical benefits. Just an idea so you don't have to taste it plain.

That's a great idea! The can will be messy at the end, but it might be worth it.
The herb bed will actually keep it pretty clean, but you can also buy S&B Stainless Steel concentrate pads and cut them up to put in the bottom of your Haze cans. Keeps them spotless. Most online vape shops carry them very cheap and all you need is a sharp scissors to get them to size.

I'm a new Haze V3 owner, and have had it for a couple of months now. It does a great job extracting flavor out of those baskets. I can live with the stem being sticky, until they come up with a better idea.

But the unit stinks and that's a show stopper in a portable for me. I tried storing it in a stink sack inside of a Ryot bag, but even that didn't work.

Has anyone found a well fitting, smell-safe case, perhaps similar to this one I use for my Arizer Air stems? http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00QG9KXE2

Have you been cleaning the unit? A well maintained unit helps keep smell down.. Otherwise i suggest looking in the fishing/outdoors sections of department stores for water tight containers.. I have lots in various sizes.

The Haze won't be sticky or smell with regular cleanings. They take only a few min and all you need is an iso soaked q tip and a thin iso soaked pipe cleaner. Every concentrate session, or 3 to 4 dry herb session calls for a cleaning. That's not excessive at all considering of the insane amount of vapor the Haze internally emits into your mouthpiece over every session. Again the few min you put into it, make the Haze your best portable battery electric option of it's sort. Flavor wise and in every other way, if keep it clean it will keep you happy.
