Discontinued Haze Dual V3

@woolspinner , instead of pushing in the stem to switch it off, I have found it easier to open and then close the battery door. It turns the device back on, and is faster than the pushing and pulling. Also, I find that letting the unit warm up before pulling the stem out makes it much easier to deal with. I don't usually pull my stem out until the lights stop blinking. Failing that, you could always get a case with a pocket where you could stash the MP.

Brilliant! I had not thought of the battery. I had considered storing the MP outside. Maybe this would be easier overall. I suppose I amend that I might recommend this to an arthritic but would tell them to store the MP outside device, which would significantly reduce the problem.

I just store it on my stem tray, but heat expands it. When it's cooled off it should be easy to glide in and out. Besides you don't want it too thin or it will slide inside and not give you the traction needed during use. Glad you enjoy the Haze overall.

I've used my haze a few times after the initial taste of plastic when I first used it and its tasting very nice now. I imagine it was the silicone like someone else had mentioned but its all good now. Its weird, I've been at home for about a month so I've been only using my E-Nano, but the few times here and there I do use the Haze it gets me very medicated, mabye even moreso than the E-Nano..Is it possible to delvelop a tolerence to certain vapes when used exclusively for long periods of time?

Hey guys, sorry for my absence here as of late. While I've been mulling over the decisions of taking a new job I've been taking a break (which has been a bit of a bummer) from our favorite flower. However, I am really happy to see so many new additions to the family! Although I am still thinking things over, I absolutely know which vape I will reach for first when it is time to break the fast!

So awesome to see @scott402 and Haze keeping us all up and running!

Well while waiting for my Haze to be RMA'd I made this box for my haze accessories. It's not as nice as the Haze accessory keychain that they sale for $17 but it only cost me a few cents to make with my 3d printer :p

I was looking forward to posting a positive first impressions, little review - type post since receiving my Haze V3 this morning, but alas, I am inquiring about issues before considering returning it.

I had some difficulty getting one of the batteries to securely hold in place and show charging but after fiddling for a bit managed both batteries charging (bottom lights blinking). After returning from an errand, I saw all lights solid. I waited an additional half hour for a total of about 4.5 hours charging.

I setup one chamber with the conduction screen and the other with the convection screen. Then 3/4 filled each with medium-fine ground flowers, gave a slight finger tamp, and shut the door.

I then began a session with the conduction-screened chamber at level 2. Once lights were solid, I drew - some warm air with a conduction taste. I had a few more such draws of basically conduction tasting warm air. I then opened the door and was surprised to see the contents very dark, but not black. The session was perhaps a few minutes. I would compare these draws to MFLB with weak (pre-Glyph) batteries. I didn't see any exhaled vapor nor did I taste the flowers.

Very much unsatisfied, I flipped to the convection side at setting 2 then 3. I did detect a slight improvement in taste, but basically the experience was similar to chamber 1 - a very quick session with little effect or flower taste and no visible vapor (exhaling into the light).

The flowers are the same I've been loading in my SSV recently and the amount consumed should be sufficient.

Speaking of which, I'm going to finish up this post, and "Ride the Wave" as I somehow didn't really have a session this evening.

I'll try again tomorrow, but it looks like I'll be returning it. Now, I'm looking forward to getting this all sorted, getting a working Haze 3 happening, then posting a little review.

Chimpybits,

I'm sorry your first impression was not favorable but based on what you wrote and the 100's of other satisfied customers on the thread, I can only conclude there is something going on that we need to figure out. Could be the device and could be technique?

Please open up a discussion with me at sales@hazevaporizers.com. I want to ask you a series of questions to find out if we can identify what's going on. Thx!

Here's my solution to the sticky mouthpiece. After cleaning, rub a finger on the side of your nose, and then rub the MP with the very fine skin oil before inserting it back into the Haze. That will make it easier to remove for several sessions, and doesn't affect anything else. Try it!

Okay. If you can overcome the "ick" factor, this works very well! Slick as a whistle! :p

Hello to everyone on this thread, I hope you guys are loving your Haze as I surely am. I just received the unit yesterday from VaporizerUSA.

I am not new to the thread as I have been following it since the first page and it took about 2 weeks to read the whole thread as I was also very busy with my schedule. I can pretty much, hopefully, pick-out all the issues that were discussed over here. And how much improvement was made after the v2.5 and v3; including the battery door, the mouth piece, and the heating temperatures. So I was very excited about the unboxing for personal pleasure :p ... Oh, do I hate the USPS sometimes, my package had arrived on the right date, but to the wrong house <.< ... My neighbor who I have never spoken to was nice enough to come over and give me the package while I was on the phone waiting 20 mins on the line to speak to a representative at USPS because the package read "delivered".. oh well that took 20 mins to solve.. Glad I have good neighbors :) So I got back inside, to do the unboxing. Btw, if someone likes the keychain box and doesn't want to pay extra for it, VaporizerUSA is giving it as a free gift along with the V3. That's another way to keep yourself organized with the V3, but if you do not want to spend the money, you can easily go to HomeDepot or a hardware store to find something that will help keep all the pieces in place. Back to the unboxing, I love the haze box! It is very solid and the feel of just taking your v3 out of it is just great :) something about good packaging with good unit box that I find satisfying. First thing I took out were the MPs just to make sure i did not get the v2.5 version, lol idk why. And finally, I slipped off the plastic top off the actual unit and held it in my hands. I know I had read in the thread how people found it to be much smaller than how it was displayed on most pictures; and it is very true, the unit is really hand-friendly! I was also reading a thread where users complained about how they held the device, why it's better in your left hand, but even if I were to keep the oven straight, and the unit in my left hand, it didn't seem like a big problem at all as I have only used Solo and Flowermate and switched hands in between with them. I also drive while using my vaporizer most of the time, and enjoy driving with my right hand; but either-way, I feel there are ways to hold the device in your right hand without feeling the warmness of it because it's so "hand-friendly," like I just mentioned. Next, I took out the battery charger out, along with the batteries and the wire for it. Very solid build for the charger and the batteries. So next I unpacked the keychain and immediately took off the chain lol. I don't find the chain attractive. I had seen somewhere it was easy to take it out but I had some trouble and i pulled it a bit too hard and bent the side of the "accessory box," but I was able to bend it right back in, but still a little noticeable (doesn't bother me) But this made me realize I shouldn't rush into this :p. I took out the foam out the accessory box and threw it right out so i can make more space for my MPs, cleaning tool, and the tweezer ( oh is this tweezer sexy :o ) and now I was able to fill my accessory box with the conduction/convection screens, both the cans just to see how it holds up in there. Works great! ..

Now to the actual review of the performance...
MIND-BLOWING! ... I love temp 2, and ending it off with a 3 for my last 3-4 pulls. I felt so meditated, amazed at how good this unit worked. As I have mentioned, I have only used Solo and the Flowermate (the first version without temperature settings) and Solo was a step-up from Flowermate by 10x. The V3, however, is a step-up in my opinion from the Solo of another 5x. I am vaping 15x better than when i first started vaping if that makes sense lol. I love the unit, the warm-up time takes a little while, but it is all worth it at the end. I usually just do dry herb so the unit works out amazing on that. Come to think of it, I really love the dry herb cans, and will be ordering more in the future (as in next week) lol. GREAT GREAT GREAT PRODUCT! just hard to explain how well it runs for now.. I hope I do not run into any problems or defects in the future but I read the thread and can swear on that this company will help keep their customers satisfied. Oh stupid me, after i was meditated I wanted to clean the unit and this really shocked me and I felt I had to return the product lol. So what happen was this, I was cleaning the bowl and wanted to try clean the path-way between the bowls and the MP pathway. Although the unit is clean as of now, I just wanted to do a practice clean-up test (I like keeping my things clean) and I was able to clean one side (open circle) but when i turned to the other side to clean, I noticed it was blocked at the end with no passage. I turned the flash-light on to see what was going on, I saw that the open-circle pathway was open to the MP pathway while the closed-circle pathway was closed towards the MP pathway; it almost broke my heart lmao. I really felt there was a metal piece blocking the pathway. This took me some time but after turning the switch to the solid circle and did i see that path open up :o.. I did not read anywhere (or if I did, I apologies) on this thread about the mechanism of this certain area but wow, the whole unit around the MP area spins to open the pathway according to the switch you have it on. I am sure many of you guys know this, but it was a big surprise for me... I feel much relieved now :) but out of some bud :( agh, hopefully my dealer is around after work :p

I apologies for making this really long but this vaporizer is great and worth the buy! Especially if you haven't used many vaporizers or are new to the clouds, get yourself one of these bad boys.

For those that are not enjoying the Unit, please do something about it as you might have gotten a unit that's not functioning right. I been following the thread for a long time, and I know what these satisfied users felt like. So please, do something about a unit that's not performing right!

Thanks guys! And thank you Scott for all the insight! Btw, the accessory box needs stickers all over it LoL. Enjoy vaping guys!

Welcome @bluelagoon538 ! Nice write up. Glad to see you have upgraded your status from Lurker! We very much appreciate the kind words and and your first impressions! Also thanks for reading the thread. Not enough of that goes on here on FC and we end up answering the same questions over and over. @ShayWhiteGrow and I were just discussing yesterday that the search function is a powerful tool that goes unused too often. Yes it's not perfect but I could eliminate some of the redundancy.

I also want to let everyone know that we just opened up the FAQ section here on our website. This is just a start and we plan to add so I would welcome anyone's suggestions and answers on what you think is missing.

Hello fellow haze aficionados ,
Well I've been reading the majority of the pages after first hearing about the haze and finally bought one. Just got it today and the batteries are charging. Tomorrow can't come fast enough. I have a firefly which broke last week after a couple of years. It served me well but it's time to move on and everything I've read and the videos I've watched convinced me to get the haze. Any newbie tips on using it would be great. I will post my first impressions tomorrow. Have a great night.

Any suggestions: When I inhale, a bit of flower debris comes along with the vapor. It's not a major problem- if I use water it enters the water instead of my mouth. But this wasn't happening with the 2.5 nor with any of my other vapes. I used the Haze yesterday for the first time in a while and realized that I tend to use it less than my arizers because of this.

One thing I have been doing with my v3 haze is to apply a thin coat of coconut oil to the stem after cleaning it. Works great. No problems with the MP whatsoever. You can also soak the MP in coconut milk, the fats will absorb the resin, and drink it after!

If you don't clean it for a while (15 sessions or so) the resin will build up and cool on the stem. This is what makes it so hard to pull. Like another user said...... It's kind of like a reminder..... Time to clean.

The keychain would alleviate those issues by removing the mouthpiece as others have mentioned. I like having the ability to leave it in and have it work as intnded
