CBD - non-'high' enducing medication.

Hi,

My Mum is a long time non-Hodgkin's lymphoma sufferer and also has a lot of neck problems due to trapped nerves.

She has tried cannabis, and although it helps to relieve the symptoms, she hates the feeling of being stoned - especially skunk, it's too powerful and makes her feel unwell.

So I was hoping the FC community could advise me on the potential use of CBD.

Is there any particular brand / type I should advise her to get?

Is it more effective if used a particular way?

Any advice you could give is really appreciated.

I used to do drugs. I still do, but I used to, too
My Mum uses Cibdol, which I buy from my local head shop.

It helps ease anxiety and relieves symptoms of her arthritis without unwanted psychoactive effects.

She uses a dropper to administer doses and says it tastes funky.

I hear you can dab some cbd oils but don't how this changes the effects.

@h3rbalist thanks. My Mum unfortunately still smokes. She has tried to give up and has an e-cig for when in places its awkward to smoke, but always goes back to combusting.

I don't know if vaping/dabbing is going to be the answer, unless of course this is considered the best way to medicate using CDB.

Perhaps used as a food supplement / additive when cooking?

Is there a reason your Mum drops it straight onto her tongue by the sounds of things?

Only because that's what it says on the bottle.

I use cbd oil from the charlottes web strain. It really helped me when I was coming off of green from withdrawals. I do not think it helps with pain that much. It does kind of give me a mild stimulant feeling kind of like caffeine.
I used to mix it with green but I didn't know that it counters the crazy effects of green and the more I used the less high I would get.
