KISS AC on an E-cig Mod

I just got a KISS Alpha Centauri tank with 510 connection to sit on top of my Hana DNA 30 mod, and I'm trying to figure it out. I'm not sure if it's normal, but I've noticed it takes a bit to get it to produce vapor. I'll fire it for like 10 seconds at a time. First time I get some taste but no real vapor, second time I'll get a tiny bit of vapor, and usually by the third time it gets going. I'm wondering if I need to use higher wattage/voltage? I'm not even sure what's recommended for the coils. I've been using the dual coil with the mod set to 7w, reads 3.4v when it fires.

Hopefully someone else has some experience with these or @THC SCIENTIFIC can chime in with some help. Thanks in advance
