The Mighty/Mighty+ by Storz & Bickel

Thanks - I am new to vaping. I keep hearing it's a creeper high - so I've been going slowly. Started with two and waited. Not enough. But I didn't want to overdo it immediately. And I also don't want to play catch-up.

How many hits are you all taking from the Mighty to get you where you need to be?
Hits or bowls? :science:
Since I got a bubbler, it only takes a couple of decent lung fulls or hits to finish a bowl in the Mighty anyway.
I think for me it depends on the day, the time of day, the size of the hit and the strain.
I woke today and vaped a bowl and felt baked.
But last night I came home from work and went through 2 bowls before I felt I was as relaxed as I needed to be.

Well thank god their machine evenly vapes herbs. ..because the way they treat customers needs some stirring!
But aside from the knit pick things like expecting it to stay in one piece with causal use...it is a beast!
Can't figure out their customer service either. Great product with material and firmware issues yet when I spoke with S and B they wouldn't admit to having either problem. S and B in Germany were reasonable but then Oakland got involved. If it didn't work at all I'd send it in but until then just keep hitting the power button when it acts up. Great (overpriced) vape with a worsening CS department. Maybe once they've sorted out the Crafty/Mighty issues they'll go back to being the company I've heard they were.

The temp level you're using will play a bigger part ,
than the # of hits , to get you to the medicated state you
prefer . ( besides the quality of your cannabis )

Been using 365. ABV-ing everything once the clouds stop. No doubt I could get more by bumping to 375-380 for another round. Will try that next.

They definitely aren't the great company that they used to be. They used to be known for their customer service alone regardless of the quality of their older models.

The change was so apparent with the release of their portable units that I honestly thought they might have changed ownership or had a management restructure.

im thinking of just e-mailing them in germany. unless someone else got a positive results from oakland. It's impractical to charge so much $ for plastic, thats why it should be compensated with warranty

What do you guys think about travelling internationally with a used mighty? Going on a long trip and want to bring it with me but I'm worried. If I did bring it, I would clean it thoroughly. Thoughts?

My short experience with S&B CS has been positive, they have sent me two wall chargers totally free of charge when I emailed their Oakland department (they sent one

But as I start to notice the first cracks appearing on my unit, I'm starting to worry about dealing with a warranty down the line.

OK - sort of tried this last night, although I went straight to 375 on a fresh bowl. About 5 full pulls. Amazing impact.

Yeah it's definitely a creeper. I've got myself far higher than I intended a few times with the Mighty. I like to fill the bowl to max capacity and take 4-5 big hits at 180c then I'll turn off the Mighty.. That's enough to get me baked for a good while and then when I'm ready I'll finish off the bowl by bumping up the temp to 185c-190c.

Just had a delivery by UPS, a replacement cooling unit and a set of fine (approx 200 micron aperture according to the microscope here @ work) screens FOC from S&B :)

..and the new cooling unit is completely airtight

Hey guys, Im back in nyc. I went to my house down in tampa florida for the weekend. Nobody is renting it at the moment for the first time this summer so I figured why not. It was a nice getaway I must say.

Anyway, I just wanted to let everyone know that boiling water is safe to use as a cleaning method. I left my cooling unit boiling for 21min before the water vaporized and barely any water was left. No damage was done and it left the plastic spotless. After 6 min the plastic was already cleaned as it was brand new but I wanted to see if the water damaged the plastic at all and after 21min when there's wasn't enough water left, the unit was still fine and had complete strength. This is some tough plastic. I don't see why anyone would keep it boiling for longer than 10 minutes to be quite honest so 21min should be an adequate experiment run time.

Best part about it is you get no aftertaste! I will be cleaning my units in boiling water from now on. Goodbye iso!

Lol I know some of you guys love that resin. It's not for me though. I get grossed out, idk what it is lol. I'm not saying it's gross though, it's just not for me. Maybe if I tried it I would feel differently about it, who knows lol.

You would feel completly different! It's not like the resins of pipes and bowls past. It is vaporizer THC that cools and sticks to the walls of your CU before it makes it to your lungs. If it's dirty enough it should be 'scrape-able' use it to top a bowl or take a dab! You'll see.

Yea, I think that's what it is. I'm thinking of the bowls I have and how the iso looks after a clean lol. But even the iso I'm worried it won't evaporate fully and will linger in the oil even if its the smallest amount. Just the smell of iso alone grosses me out (I hate vodka with a passion and that's what it smells like lol). I may give it a try though at one point. I'm curious to see why some love it so much.

Unfortunately, I don't let my cu get near dirty enough to be able to scrape anything up. I clean every 6 hours of use, sometimes more. There's usually just a light coat of resin with micro sized particles, if any, since I use the finer screen on my cu. I'm very cautious not to let my cu get too dirty. I want the vapor to taste as pure as it can at all times.

Getting it dirty won't effect the taste too much. Trust me. Mine is overdue for a cleaning! I usually let it get so dirty the oil strings like hot pizza cheese when I open that shit. It's the best!

Use ever clear to soak too, I know you hate the taste of alcohol, but at least you can drink the stuff, can't say the same for iso
