Made some homemade hash

I've never done this before. This was my first go. I popped some in my Vapir rise 2.0 and o took 3 pulls and shit came on. Not strong but yeah I'm fucking high on hash. I used almost 2 year old kief in wax paper and pressed with a flat iron. Here is my pic:

Was a bit of work. But hell its worth it.

The press was actually not worth it man - heat degrades the actives in cannabis trichomes, and heat pressing is only used for trafficking purposes really. You will also find that it will vape a lot better if you leave it powdery, prepare for some of the biggest clouds you've ever seen when you do this! :D

Exactly ;)

All you are doing is losing active substances within the kief when you heat it and press it into hash. It also becomes much harder to vaporize in a convection vape when pressed like this because the air will not get through and heat all of the material.

I see what you are saying. It makes sense.

I did get some great clouds off my vape just now. It did get me pretty ripped.

I was going to smoke straight kief but I See that falling through my chamber through the tiny holes. I would love to smoke straight kief. I rather not put a layer of weed to hold it cause my bowl Is wide and I never fill the entire thing of bud.

You need to discover the wonders of stainless steel wool my friend! Put a layer of that below your kief to stop it gunking up the heater :)

You'll get good vapor/effect from pressed hash still, but it'll have lost flavor/effect and not vape so easily because of the press.

@herbivore21 yoy serious? Steel wool? Like steel wool you buy from the hardware store? Throw a bit in the chamber and vape the kief right off that? The wool is okay to vape off of and heat resistant? Doesn't create its own vapor or metal taste?

That's so many questions back to back. I just re read it. Boy I'm high.

No no, not the stuff from the hardware necessarily. You need to get medical grade SS.

316L and 316T I believe are safe grades. I use these with no added flavor or offgassing at all :)

I can't for the life of me remember where you buy it from online but my buddy @canj00digit? will probably be able to help here :)

Remember that the screens in most vapes (I'm not sure about the vapir rise, but I'd say it is the same story) are made of SS and are safe to deal with being placed right above the heater :D
