Hi all

I know stem's can be cleaned with 99% Iso, but what about metal recess that the stem pushes into?
My concern having residue remain and being caught in a piddly "sting". I understand for all intents and purposes its a non issue, but I'm sure someone, somewhere has such a stick up their a$$ about medication, that they just might try to bust someone for residue (ok maybe I'm being overly paranoid).

Also, is it best to just not include a slight used stem?

Thanks in advance

You Must Unlearn, What You Have Learned...
Hi @ez_ryder

The 99% iso will take care of that stem fine. Take a q-tip and dampen it in iso then apply to the oven, to clean. Then dry it with a few cooling type blows or let air dry before heating up. This should be very quick or you have used too much iso, just barely dampen the q-tip. Check out pipe cleaners, those fuzzy wire things, they work wonders at cleaning hard to reach places. Sometimes you have to manipulate (bend/curl/etc) the wire and turn it while inserting but it is a very useful tool. Good luck with your sale!

You're correct that the stems can be soaked in ISO. As far as the heating chamber is concerned, I just use a clean lint free cloth with a tiny amount of ISO and swirl it around the chamber a couple of times. That's all you need to do. Cleaning and maintenance are very easy with both the Solo and the Air.

Just adding to what the others have said, I would clean the oven while holding it upside down to reduce the risk of ISO going down those small holes. Then let it completely dry before running an empty burn-off cycle on high for good measure.
