The cooling units are different, Mighty's is larger, but the bowls are the same and I feel they attach in a similar fashion. The difference is above that point.

Edit: Some pics . . .

But the mouthpieces seem to be the same part, no?

One question chaps, now you've beta tested the crafty, what 'beta test' updates does the crafty need?
What makes you think it's a beta product? ;)

As far as harshness do you find the Crafty/Mighty to be less irritating to your throat as compared to the Solo if you were to hit both dry at say 6 on the Solo vs 392F on your Mighty? I think that would be comparable temps??

Solo is much harsher on the teeth, tongue and throat than the Solo mate. I usually set the Crafty at 210C (max) and it's like the Solo at 4-5 maybe but better. I had to use the Solo with a Vapor Lung to save my mouth. No need for anything with the Crafty. I like high temps and tiny loads but even with a full bowl, were the vapour is obviously harsher, I take 15 sec strong hits without feeling pretty much anything hot and harsh! And that's at max temp, right? The differences between Solo/Air and the Crafty more than justifies the price difference!

I know the Air is new and pretty and cool but there really isn't any reason to compare it with the Crafty. Crafty is on a whole different level and should only be compared with desktops or with portables like the Lotus, Hammer, Daisy etc. as far as vapor production and quality goes. I am sure the Air can do for a nice back up though for when the Crafty battery runs out in parties and gatherings... :p

Well I have experienced an error which made my unit not autoshutoff until depleted, disable boost mode, cranck up to max temp on its own and blink rapidly in no specific color. Prior to that accident I admit I had only depleted cell once. I have been using Crafty for 5 hours total, basicly as a desktop, always plugged in when in use. After battery died all turned back to normal. Unit was not overheated when I noticed something is going on, it was simply charging after previous session - an hour perhaps? Nothing extreme.

S&B have not answered my email yet (it's been 24 hours), which is unusal as they usually answer within an hour. Still waiting though.

As I see it there are two options. Either there was a simple computing error or there was a computing error which activated diagnostic mode - perhaps the "always stay on" mode. I wonder if it could be one of the mystery bluetooth options (http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/the-crafty-by-storz-bickel.15984/page-71#post-694276)?

Perhaps there is a point in hacking this thing afterall. Hell yeah.

Vapecritic was not happy with the shut off or the battery life, was wondering if there was anything else, now that the crafty has been subjected to customer scrutiny?
First of all, just because vapecritic didn't like those things doesn't mean they are beta bugs. In order for a portable to have such a performance certain sacrifices have to be made for the time being. Battery life is one of them and you can't do much about battery technology. It's moving slow cause people behind them just need MORE money. The beauty of fucking capitalism!
Other than that only a few problems have come up so far and are not widespread so you can't really call them bugs...

I pulled the trigger and got me an xmass present. But, but, now getting 'buyers remorse' after watching wizard puff's stoner chick saying: the herb gets used up too quickly, not very efficient!

Xactly!!!

BUT, it depends on your draw.

Imagine that. You have your clothes hanging from a rope outside drying. If there is a little wind they are gonna dry in a certain amount of time. If it's more windy they will dry faster.
So, as the Crafty allows for a lot of airflow, if you draw hard it's going to be be VERY windy. You always have the choice of drawing lighter though and if you keep your temps down you can extend a load to your liking.
Welcome to the club mate. Nice chick that Puffwizard girl but doesn't know much about vapes from what I have seen... ;)

Now it doesn't really matter how fast it spends the load as long as it's going into your system, right? Except if you are enjoying a movie maybe and wanna sip... Well, there certainly are better sippers out there. Lotus is one of them...

Hey all!

Thanks to some help from a fellow member, I have a spare mouthpiece heading my way for the Crafty! This means I'll be able to make a Silicone Waterpipe Adapter!

Since I don't have accurate measurements yet, I had to guess at the dimensions, but here's a rough sketch of my 18mm WPA. This is a fully parametric design - which means once I have the physical mouthpiece in my hands, I simply need to update 2 variables in the code and recomplie for perfect fit

Hopefully I'll have a Crafty SonG on my Etsy store before the end of this year!
Now that is kick ass man! Any chance you can produce a 14mms size as well?

That's kind of a contradiction eh. If it's efficient why would the herb get used up so quickly
I would say you need a smaller number of hits before everything is extracted. I tried loading a fully extracted crafty avb onto my solo and I didn't get any clouds. So I can say the crafty is at least as efficient as my solo, which is saying a lot

That's not efficiency your taking about that's extraction. Because your crafty extracted everything your solo could meaning their both on the same level of extraction.

I was going to say the same about puffwizard lady, lovely eyes and all but thats were it stops for me!

So before we judge her because of what she might have said, please give us the source @problemchild.

Because I respect her efforts and like her reviews I cannot let this uncommented. I have heared her saying the exact opposite in this vid:

its at 5:25 and they both love the efficiency in the review.

Really think they are pulling a nice job in presenting the vapes, please don't throw dirt too quick.

mod note: Please do not post any links to wizardpuff, including videos. They promote spam and are not welcome here.

you no what, you could just say the origonal review clip has been update by a new review clip! Hey, 'each to their own', I'm not judging her, why would I, I quite like her, she's Canadian right? :-)

It's all in the reflexes.

While it's true vapecritic wasn't happy with the auto shutoff or battery life it's also true that Crafty is the highest rated vaporizer on his websight. No vaporizer is perfect imo. Bottom line on the Crafty: vapor quality is top notch. And really, when a portable rips like a top end desk top don't all its small faults kinda melt away

You think he didn't like it?

He rated it 97 out of 100, its the highest rated vape on his website??

I suggest you have a read through this thread.

Completely disagree. It's efficient because it's fully extracting in a quick amount of time. It's not like you're losing anything, you're getting the full benefit of the the THC and other cannabinoid.

You could probably cash a full bowl in just a minute or two if you had some iron lungs and were probably running it through water. Or you can sip and take your time. Your call, the Crafty gives you the choice.

So yes, it is EXTREMELY efficient.

Sorry, that's BS. I recalled it because I've seen their review in November. Maybe you mixed something up

Hey, 'each to their own', I'm not judging her, why would I?

Exactly, so before I start qouting someone I am not sure of, I just don't do it.
Sorry for o/t but feel the need to point this out. I am a victim of a false suspicion for myself and can tell you for nights about the malstrom of horror you can unleash just because the originator had no clue what he was summoning with his suspicion.

Sure it's about nothing, but next time it isn't.

the one I saw has been taken down, she even went for a stroll with it on the metro. If you look on their youtube site you will see they have 4 review clips of the crafty/mighty. Ffs they are chopping and changing a bit. Its not her fault either, its the bloke behind the camera :-)
