anyone using a hybrid Genny mod or genesis Atty to Vape liquid concentrates?

Hey everyone. I'm wondering if anyone has any feedback on using a genesis style tank atomizer for liquid concentrates? I've got a good mix, just looking for a tank system that won't leak. I've got high hopes for some kind of genesis system and looking for any advice/experience before I spring for the gear. Thanks!

As long as your mix isn't too viscous you should be fine, but if I had to guess the concentrate would need to be pretty diluted. Also genny tanks have a history of leaking if they are placed on their side so be careful. I would prefer a bottom coil atty over a genny, but I don't like diluting my concenrate I prefer my diamondback coil too much haha.

i agree. i wouldnt even mess with a genny style atty. bottom coil is going to be your best bet i would imagine.

Ok but all the bottom coil setups leak to some extent. It can be mitigated but not eliminated. I know you have to keep the Genny upright but other than that...would it have to be MORE viscous than bottom coil, just in order to wick it...up? Versus down? I haven't messed with porous ceramic but was thinking that...or as mesh with ekowool ...I don't mind dipping down to soak the wick if I can prevent leaking by closing fill hole/xwick hole...that would be ok with me...
Daily I use cup coils, dual coil metal cup with a screw on cap, seego type, and I do e-dabs with that. I also have decent luck with any of the aspire or kanger evod tanks, not with aero IMO, its just trial and error finding the right combo of viscosity, voltage, airflow, temperature, which way the wind is blowing, etc...I think the new aspire bvc tastes best as far as stock coils go, but I've gotten both tank brands to work ok...and laying them flat or carrying them upside down does minimize the flooding, leaking, and loss of product...its just a PITA, really, and I don't want to seem ungrateful, I know the perfect tech is evolving, but I NEVER feel confidence in these things, and that sucks. They'll work great once, and I think eureka! By god finally, second run even with new Atty every time, maybe its me but I'm just waiting for the first gurgle, and I haven't been disappointed yet...
I mean I pretty much have this down, a little flooding and leaking with either brand but for the most part they work...ok. The only tank I haven't personally tried yet is the nautilus. Anyway I was surprised to hear both of you quash my Genny dreams....really?...sigh....I mean I guess--ah I'm so stubborn, I have to at least get a cheap RbA Genny and mess with it, see for myself I guess... I get the issue ...just...I mean is it WORSE with the Genny than bvc or bvd? Jeez...I'm going to get the big dripper rdta and try that, I guess...seems like the other most logical good idea...

Thank you both for your replies BTW. I value the feedback. I'm just disappointed. Alas, I still have high hopes for the design...but will definitely continue doing my homework before I spring for a $200 hybrid mod...

Regarding the dilution...I'm getting oil here ...not shatter or wax but oil that is upwards of 79% THC...guy at my store today said he has some shatter coming in that tested out at 97%thc...I am totally cool with vaping a 30+% THC liquid...lol...I can live with that. The Vape high is very different--is that just me or does anyone know any science behind Vape delivery/absorption that might explain why the high is so different...is it the straight THC, not enough cbd etc? Or something else?

I'm willing to concede that it might have been an issue with the particular tank I had...the adjustable airflow SHOULD help with flooding by allowing me to get more air if its starting to flood...grrr...just hard to spring again/put the hope out there lol when I have a failed one sitting in my drawer...I've been very close to buying an emow tank tho...

Advice for a coil build? I have a simple 19mm forge RDA...3 post...want a backup in case my tanks don't work on this trip, to be able to drip my ej THC mix...I have 32 g kanthal and ekowool, 2mm I think...I can get stuff but that's what I have, don't know about ekowool, like puffy cotton in there better for ejmix? Paddle coil? I don't have a ton of room but...enough...does 2 coils double your resistance..if they're the same? So.. Coil build and wick material suggestions for a small one or two coil dripper for my thc ejmix?

You can refer me to a site or something if yoyou want...I'm sure you have other things to do, but for some reason I just like asking you stuff. I read a lot of threads and posts on here before I dove in, and I've just always liked where your head seems to be at. Thanks again for all the help. One day I'll figure out the posting thing!

2 clicker, you agree because you think the stuff just won't wick, or will be too thin to be effective? In a Genny I mean? Is that the issue? The thicker liquid just doesn't go...up...very well? See I haven't tried shatter of wax with ej mix, just oil the consistency of cold honey. My point is I end up with a pretty thin liquid using 1 gram of oil to .5 gram of ejmix...leaves me with a pretty viscous liquid running about 30-50%thc...I'm guessing the shatter or wax liquid is thicker, or at about a 1:1 ratio for dilution I guess is not very strong...depending on the original product...
