So I'm trying to find ways in which to make my MFLB easier to hit. I can get pretty large hits from just the whip, but the vape tends to irritate the back of my throat and I usually have to take breaks. Is there a good way to attach the whip to a bubbler of some sort permanently? An extra filtration method would allow me to take huge vape hits, which is what I'm looking for. I saw something about the SSV having something similar; does anyone know if this would work with the box?

Thanks!

I've seen people hook their LB up to whips, bongs, etc. I'm not sure how they then control the temp and avoid burning their herb. When I use the LB I use the heat I feel to gauge temp and stay in range I want to be. I think it would take a bit of learning to know how hot your LB is when you can't feel it.

I found the LB can be drying and irritating to a dry throat but if you take a sip of water before hitting, not a problem at all for me and I use mine OFTEN :D

Flyfisher-u may be getting bigger hits than you think, its all about lighting. An invisible hit in normal light will be a nice cloud if you blow it into a bright light.

Here's a dumb question: how important are the little black rings on the top of the batteries? Once I peel the labels off, those rings want to fall off, and I can't decide if I should just toss them or try to glue them back on.

Thanks

Are you referring to the ones on the Powerex batteries? If so, the ones I bought last night had those on them and I took them off and they seem to be working fine.

all good in the hood.
does anyone else think we should/could create a completely separate thread for just comment and questions about batteries for this device? It seems like it would clean up this thread a ton. Lots of people have battery questions/concerns/thoughts.

just my :2c:

I just took mine off too, the batteries shipped with the mflb didn't have them.

Agreed. Especially since a lot of info often gets repeated. It's hard to sift through a 345+ page thread... Batts/chargers, while a big part of the mflb's use, can be a specific topic on its own.

That's why there is a vaporpedia. http://www.vaporpedia.com/wiki/Magic-Flight_Launch_Box

The vaporpedia page is fantastic, but questions/comments persist. A separate thread on batts/chargers could begin with the vaporpedia link, for instance.

Hey guys just registered to say that the MFLB is easily one of the best values in vaping.

Think about it:

Powerful
Portable
Silent
Barely any scent
$100
Lifetime warranty
Incredible customer support
and now an AC adapter which I hear makes this thing go super sayan.

If you are looking at buying a personal vape - stop. Get an MFLB.

This!

I travel a lot, and while searching is better than positing a repated question, it's hard to sift through all of these pages....On that note, I posted a question on page 345, and was told to search, which i have and can't find the answer in my limited time.

So if anyone could tell me if this charger battery combo would be decent/compatible with the MfLB and it's stock batts I would be sooo happy! http://www.thomasdistributing.com/-MAHA-MH-C204F-DC-AA-AAA-SMART-BATTERY-CHARGER_p_923.html

Thanks

Purpl3_Haz3,
Just got the PA. I didn't have to remove the battery ring thing like I had heard I might. Shipped super fast which was awesome. Its awesome. I love it a lot. the batteries rock for on the go, but for home purposes batteries suck. I used the car adapter this afternoon and it was like my car was my home. Yay- I'm super high!

Materials/engineering wise it seems expensive, and seems lie it should have been included with the box to start with. That said, I still would not think twice about buying the box and the PA separately for the price they are individually.

Ok, I'm trying to understand this.

I'm assuming that the reason that people like the PA is because it allows a larger and more dense hit and I'm going to assume that the reason for this is because it allows the Box to operate at a higher temp, but can't you also reach those higher temps by leaving the batteries in for longer?

Nah, it's more than that. If you mostly use it at home, you just leave the PA in place and push the tiny button whenever you want a hit. With the batteries you have to use the battery itself as a switch... it's hard to explain but everything is so much easier and more ergonomic with the PA. With the batts you are always calculating how much power left, dealing with diminishing charge, remembering to charge them up... With the PA you decide how hot you want and it stays there.

Since draw speed is much, MUCH more important with the LB than probably any other vape out there, the temp equation really comes into play. Higher battery output OR slower draw = higher temps. So you can essentially attain any temperature with either the battery or the PA. However since the PA has the capability to provide much more power, you can compensate with faster draw speeds and thus get quicker, bigger hits. For me I can only get really good hits from the battery by drawing r e a l l y slowwwwwwww. Think sipping water but at a rate of one drop only per second. It's not as easy as you might think, and it takes a LOT more hits (and therefore time) to acheive a comperable effect that you can attain quickly and easily with the PA.

I hope that makes sense.

Cheers!
