Discontinued Haze Dual V3

here's a rough shatter video. The first couple draws were whispy. Once it was heated throughly it produced decent clouds. When I open the haze that was after about 8-9 draws into the can and it was clearly still producing a constant stream of vapor. That session could have lasted a lot longer but just for the video I cut it short. Notice I kept it horizontal and even though I'd like to toss it on my WP I wouldn't invert it with concentrates.

Here's some herb in the can... (Unedited)

Herb in the can produces no vapor and gets lost?!?!?!? I think he might be wrong in that review.

Here's the abv after more WP draws....

Perfect, you nailed it! If I do remember correctly back in the thread I think it was you that said they would add music to the video. :) thanks for the videos, you ended my birthday on a ^HIGH^ note tonight.

That ABV looks great, nice consistent color almost like a blackened chicken hue to it but not combusted, excellent reference picture to boot, shoot you aim to please.

What do you guys/gals think of this review? Do you agree when he says it does not vaporize concentrates very well and it seems that the vapor is lost someplace in the device? He even mentioned this once with herb.

Do you agree it does not live up to the other units in this price point, even the ones he mentioned?

These statements are the complete opposite of what many of you have said/reviewed. I was able to use a friends and it worked great. I have yet to use a concentrate but I have been told it vapes shatter like the sun is hot.......sooooo I would imagine it could do well with it all and think it will based on all of the feedback here in this lovely thread.

BTW today is my b-day and no, no my girlfriend did not get me the Haze as expected. I'm bummed. Oh well it looks like I'll be ordering it on my own in about 7 days along with a bunch of extra stuff. I think I will give Cathy a call and see if they will honor that discount on more than 2 extra cans when one first purchases the Haze unit. @Haze Vaporizers would this be doable?

Also I was under the impression that some videos of the unit in action were going to be posted here and some more reviews on how it works with everything? Yes/no? I also just wanted to drool more and there are near to no videos of it in action on the net.

First off Happy Birthday @ichibaneye I hope you had a great day and I'm sorry you didn't get your Haze!

Regarding the review. I just got around to watching it now. All I can say is everyone is entitled to their opinion but I have owned the Ascent and still own the Pax and I would take the Haze over both any day of the week! I just think the benefits of the Haze outweigh the advantages either of the two have over it. The Ascent is nice for taste and temp control but it's a pain in the ass everywhere else. Pax is great for stealth but really doesn't offer any other advantage. You buy what you want but these are my :2c: since you asked.

But to say the herb in the can is "a lie" is hilarious! As others have mentioned, most of us use this everyday as their primary method. I bet the dude had the can in backwards or possibly the lid on wrong.

Yes what he described can happen and has happened to me too. But only under the conditions I described and I don't know what else could cause it. But if you do it right it's the best way to go (IMO)!

@ean I don't know what's wrong with your device or technique but that really sucks for you. I would hate messing with those screens all the time! :p

Hopefully you give it another go and can get some consistently!

Thanks for the kind words, times are tough all around and it was a great day no matter what transpired, I'm alive vaporizing and happy. I have a great girl, family and forum pals!

I'll have the Haze soon enough and time just makes it that much sweeter in my eyes, so in a word I'm starving...haha. I also came across I great storage product called Jyarz, which I'm sure some of you have heard of. Between the Jyarz a locking travel case/organizer and the Haze and extras for it more than half my next check is (happily) spent. :D

@Haze Vaporizers I recently pointed two good friends of mine to your product and they both got back to me with the same reply and I quote "those are fucking sweet I am getting one as soon as I can" I also encouraged them to join the forum here @ FC as well.

what's up VP? I'm glad you two are reunited!!! In reference to ur charger question, on the top of the charger those two ports are the power input via standard plug in and the other is for the car charger. The USB on the side is a power output. This is the power bank feature. If u have charged batteries in the charger you can charge a USB device.

Hey could someone please get/give me the outside dimensions at their largest points on the cans for the Haze please? I have an idea and they do not list them on the Haze site from what I could see. Thanks.

@Vape Dr. you are always on top of things, thanks. I am putting in my order right at the moment. Does haze offer us a discount code at all? I see on the Haze website that they have a place to enter one. Thanks again for your help.

Also about how many days is standard ups compared to the postal service standard ground in matter of delivery time? I ask because the u.s. postal service charges $4 more than ups and the postal service is 5-7 days.

@Haze Vaporizers where are you located or where do your units ship from when I order direct from your site? I ask because I am trying to decide on my shipping methods, thank you.

I would rather have my Haze come from your warehouse and not some other distributors warehouse for some other authorized outlet. I say this because it will have gone through less hands/movement before I get to touch it myself. Thanks.

No discount codes out there that I am aware of.

All products ship from VaporizerUSA in Alpharetta, GA. They do all the distribution for Haze.

I hope this helps.

Yes it did help. 4-5 days instead of 5-7 with the u.s. p.o.

@Haze Vaporizers & the rest of my fellow Haze brothers, I just placed my order. I got the graphite with 4 extra cans and extra batteries. I'm am soooooooooooo stoked!!! Hopefully it gets out today if you all can hit me with positive vibes that it does and gets here in good shape. Now I'm off to go look at a Pelican case so i can pimp out the storage/organizer unit.

well my haze is scheduled to arrive at the manufacturer today. They told me that because mine is an isolated case they are going to examine it and then get back to me on the subject and either give me a new unit or a refund all together. So far, I am the only person to report this off gassing/taste problem so well see how it goes. I really hope they deem that my haze was dysfunctional and functioning irregularly because I really want this to be my next portable....got my fingers crossed!

I think you will most likely be getting a new unit. even qc'd items can be defective it happens at times unfortunately. Although it is no fun not having your Haze at least you will be getting a new one again. I wished the best for you that things will turn out good, just think positive and good will happen. :peace:

Well with my Solo turning sour for the third time, and now my Imag+ too, I think I'm officially in the market for another portable afterall... So my strongest VAS temptations lately have been the Firefly, Inhalater, and Haze (plus Crafty ofcourse, but has to be discounted cuz I can never justify that price). Even though Inhalater may be the most exact Solo replacer I decided to hold off on it until glass capsules, wpa, and external battery charging is included since I know those will be necessary for me. So for immediate purchase its coming to the firefly (on sale with a spare battery) or Haze. I have been wanting to try firefly for a while, but the thing that keeps me from it is that i am mostly satisfied with my Elevape for on demand pure convection already, so am I fooling myself to think the firefly will fill my current need then?

That pushes me back to the Haze, which could pick up slack for the Solo and also give me the new benefits of dual bowls, herb cans, and swappable batteries as well. I still have an issue with the temps though, since 1 is useless and people say 2 is a bit low? How does level 2 compare to the two lowest settings on the indica by the way @scottg402 and @Vape Dr. for a point of reference? I am also displeased it goes 375 to 410 with nothing in between like Imag+ did, as I prefer to stay sub-400 most often, so 380+ and 390+ temps are a glaring absence for me. Hopefully they can be changed via software update someday (likewise battery level indicator), is this possible @Haze Vaporizers ?

Also since I don't have access to concentrates I had been putting the Haze lower on my VAS list, but are there others that use it solely for herb and think it still shines? The ability to have a spare fresh bowl ready, and even more spare fresh bowls in the cans, do seem like pretty nice herbal benefits that other vapes don't offer though. And replaceable batteries is huge, every vape should have them. But will it be able to sub in for my Solo well enough? The Ascent couldn't for me so I sold it once I got my first Indica, and I just worry I'll be missing those sessions at level 4 and 5 in the Solo (hell even 6 to an extent)...

Also thinking about getting a Wong from Ed for it too, and maybe using the Wong as a short mouthpiece as well? Speaking of accessories, I may be able to get by with just the two cans (since the convection screens are kinda like half-cans), but maybe I need another pack of batteries? How far will just the two it comes with get me again?

And speaking of accessories, @mrweed does that Vaporizer USA code not work anymore? The biggest prevention here is the cost, as id like to be closer to $200 ideally, the Firefly would be $240 for me while the Haze is $250 (probably more with taxes/shipping? Certainly more if I get spare batteries), but I guess Haze is not going to do any sort of coupon codes or sales soon? Is it worth paying full price when I don't have concentrates and I have other vapes I enjoy? Decisions...

@Shit Snacks Unless you like combustion from something with a battery in it stay away from the firefly. A friend let me use his for a week because I was looking into the firefly, needless to say after a day with it I just rolled blunts for the rest of the week. Also online there are many credible reviewers that call it out for the Combustion issue, plus I was able to tell the difference on many of the videos, smoke looks way different than vapor.

Updatability has been built into the Haze unit as they have planned on it being something that can change/grow with the company. Haze is very committed to staying on top of their game and has assured us that FC members are the go to crowd for ideas/suggestions/comments.

I would still get it even if it was just for Herbs, why....well you already answered some of that. You get two chambers, can pre-pack cans for pop pull blow n go situations, you get an extra battery right off the bat with your new Haze plus you can get more too. It is easy to use has two different mouth pieces, easy to clean and as far as looks stands out among the others.

O.K. here is the final thing, you mentioned getting extra batteries, extras are always a good thing that way you are always prepared and do not have to wait for a charge. As far as is it worth it, we all value things in our own ways. Here is the run down on what I got when I ordered my Haze. Items are as follows: Haze Unit, 6 cans total, 2 more extra batteries (4 total), 2 mouth pieces, cleaning brush, loading/stir tool, wall charger, 4 screens and it has a 10 year warranty. When you order a new Haze you have a menu option of 20% discounted accessories, so this helps out a bunch. What did it cost me for all of these, my total came to $308.13. That included tax and shipping. Hope this helps you out some. Cheers!!

@ichibaneye yeah I have been following the thread since day one, so Haze's dedication has always been a big driver of my interest as well. But I am used to accidental combustion with pure convection vapes, already happens with my Elevape occasionally but the pros outweigh that (and its usually my fault when I combust with it, but I thought firefly has temp level set to avoid this more? Tho its no temp control is also a big con...)

In any case, if rolling upgrades like new temps and battery indication can happen that is huge. That's something that's great with the Elevape too, its modularity and software allow it to never go out of date. But that was at my price threshold at $260, so with extra batts Haze is looking like about $270 for me... Hmmmm

@Shit Snacks there is no chance for combustion with Haze. Also I personally carry 2 extra batteries in my case with me Haze(I have 6). The 2 IMO just doesn't cut it for a solid days use. Two would be good for a light to moderate user IMO. I barley let my Haze cool down lol.

As far as herb only, I believe you still have advantages. Like bowl(s) capacity, pre-packed cans, easy load in/out, the choice between convection and conduction.

Also @Ed's TnT does a great job with the stem and WonG for the Haze. You could very well use your WonG as a stubby MP, I know I have lol but def grab a stem too they are beautiful and they make a great seal with the o-ring and the groove. The groove on the stem keeps it in place too. I wish the original MP had that feature. Also if u store ur MP in ur Haze it fits like the original.

@NickDlow I envy you so very much my friend. I have seen a few HAZE mouthpieces and WPAs from @Ed's TnT and they are outstanding! Ed is an absolutely amazing craftsman and his pieces are very much works of art. I hope to order my @Ed's TnT mouthpiece and WPA once he fills his orders and has a chance to sit down and breath for more than a minute.:D

@Shit Snacks , I am sure that you will truly enjoy Haze. I will order one of those wood attachments next week and will share the experience as well. So far, I am still extremely pleased with the performance and my dad, who is an old school puffer, and who was extremely difficult to be convinced of the concept of vaporization to begin with, can testify for this product :)

Hey you said what I already said and got more likes, I'm going to go drink and vape my sadness away and check out the abbreviation thread and study up. Oh and check and see if my Haze moved at all today. I feel like a kid does around Christmas time.

To make yourself feel better hurry up and go order one of these I decided to post on the @Ed's TnT thread.

 Haha yeah I just wanted some attention and to get people talking more. It is great hanging out on FC and with all of you vaporizer professionals. I really do mean that. On the likes thing I know there is a rule about like whoring  basically I was just having fun and mostly pointing out that dude bit off my style:rofl: .....no worries as it is flattering. Thanks for the quick link and the tip, I'll have to go check out your suggestion. At this rate by days end I'll have dropped almost $500 on vaporizing items.

@scottg402 when the link loaded and I got to the Haze stuff here is what happened :love:

@Haze Vaporizers I was looking online at various attachments for portable vaporizers and I have a suggestion for attachment refinement, something with a 90/45/22 degree bends so when vaporizing concentrates the Haze unit can maintain its horizontal position whilst being used with other tools/glass pieces, this would help with any potential spills and keep the concentrate even in the cans and be another great selling point because it now becomes basically universal with what other people already own. Plus I did not see anything close to a 90 degree bend and I think another first for you all. I could also see how this would ergonomically help or benefit others. Make them for the Haze specifically but also it could be something that others could work into what they already own, so money to be made and a broader customer scope. Just some ideas for you all.

What do my fellow FC members think about this or have to add, let's here it you vape heads!

Oh I almost forgot (imagine that).....I spoke to Jamie from Haze today and she informed me Haze struck a deal with @VaporNation so congrats to both!

More folks to carry the Haze and get the word out on how this thing kicks butt!

What better way then to team up with an FC sponsor!
