The Core comes with a full-size Persei tube (the same battery tube that comes with a Persei). This is why you need a Garnish ring to have the Persei head sit flush on the tube.
The "18350" Core tube uses an 18350 SS tube. The same piece that comes with an SS kit. So you don't need a garnish ring when swapping your top over. And it's a lot shorter and really nice to use with the Hammer Rod, Bender, and Herc due to its size. It's fully compatible with all voltages the Core can put out (3.0-8.4V)

Just got my persei v3 today with the Hercules , ohm meter , and extra set of aw 18350's
The manual online says to charge the batteries one at a time to make sure they're equal, when I plug one in it starts off with a solid red light and eventually starts flashing red , if I touch the charger or battery while it's flashing the light turns green
I'm very confused should I let it flash red is this normal?

The second picture was the first universe cart.
The first picture is the second version of the universe cart. Both about 2+ years old.
We have had this once December 2011. I'm beginning to realize we should have put these out long time ago even with its faults since we see many copying these designs and claiming their own.
@Andy let me check Monday when I get to the office.
@firekil I have yet to see a portable achieve desktop performance. I'm not talking about the low range desktops either. We compare it with the best and no it will never achieve that unless you give up the idea of pocket size.

@THC SCIENTIFIC Ah thanks for the reply. What about something with the form factor of an Arizer Solo or even slightly bigger? Something that doesn't quite fit in your pocket but is still fairly compact. A smaller vape that could pack a Volcano-sized punch would be highly desirable but I doubt that's news to you.

nice I ordered a hammer top (il have to find that rod somewhere) and the ss 18350 core adapter
iv been using the core in the car a lot and I just figure the shorty one will be much more convenient and easier to maneuver inside the car
im really loving the core although im still trying to get use to being restricted to the cord its produced huge clouds a countless amount of times
does anyone keep there unit on since there is no off feature I unplug mine after use but I can see how it would be super easy to leave it on

i just got the core. its awesome. i should have gotten it back when i started with the Persei and Herc.
a year or so of hard use on my AW batteries, and i don't think they hold a charge as well as they did. They don't seen to punch as well, even when fully charged.

I'm struggling with my new hercules. I just got it Thursday. I read the maunal I watched the video. I took apart the whole piece just to become better acquainted with it. I've loaded about a gram total and have not been able to get one hit that is near what I can pull on a kiss cart. Most of the time it doesn't even heat up and I have to take it apart make adjustments and try again. I've got about a 20% success rate in it heating up and a 0% impressive pull rate. Are these that fickle or did I get a bad piece? I have an okeanos coming soon and am starting to regret that I purchased the herc. The kiss carts have been golden the herc has been frustrating.

Make sure your gold center post inside pin isnt stuck downwards, if that doesnt work try moving your rod down just a bit..

I unscrewed the base and there is probably .25 of oil down there. I cleared that out and I fiddled with the pin and rod. It's heating up now but I think I put too much wax in initially. My coil is very saturated.

Yeah, when concentrate falls into the bottom section it seems to be hit or miss when it comes to heating up.

It may take a drop to get used 2 the Herc but well worth it !
If you have been trying to run the wax through without success @ this point I'm sure all the oil is in the reclaim @ the bottom …. IMO -- as long as it is getting HOT and it sounds like the heat is working but the hits r not ? it is getting hot to the touch right ?
I would say now pull out all the oil from the bottom and pretty much run it through again n again if you must ! until you get the hang of it --- or put more in (making sure you are at 7.4v. -- THE core or good batteries)
this time let it get hot - for a bit … puffing like a cigar as it is up or slight angle -- n look inside and make sure titanium is on the bottom and the tippy top -- of the heating element is sticking up above everything -- u should see vape coming from that area it wet & getting hot -- if u wanna test n look inside -
as its getting hot -- keep it going - don't b afraid … and as u puff like a cigar --- boom u will hit that sweet spot as HUGE hits come out ! u will know u are in your zone & will always find a way back here --
the tough part is just the 1st time !
n then its all good !
