Had a great night of testing last night. So far I like to start on 6 and work my way up to 7.5, finishing off at about 8.

The flavor really is amazing, even coming from the solo. Those first hits are perfect even with water filtration. I am now on the look out for a bigger bubbler after only having my infamous last night, this thing deserves a bigger can. I already ordered my second gong after losing the first one in record time. I feel like the opening for my 14 mm gong was much smaller than the glass stems. Also after looking at the pictures it looks like the 19 mm gongs have thinker walls than the 14 mm. Can anyone confirm this?

So far I am very happy. Now that I have this baby for home I'll be more open to bringing my solo put and about. I like the little blue light and the overall experience with this vape. It will certainly make me stop looking for a while.

Can you provide a link to the Nano replacement cord, and also the reference to the warranty being voided if the replacement cord is used (if I'm reading you right?)? I'm not seeing it on the website.
Doesn't make sense to me that the warranty is voided for using one of their own supplied cords:hmm:. Thanks!

I could see it being the end user trying to install the cord and not the cord itself that would void the warranty. IMO Andy would be well within his rights to stipulate that if you want to DIY, itll void the warranty since he cant guarantee the work.

Still a valid option for those who want almost 0 downtime, or have to ship intl tho

I am loving the Adjustabowl in 19mm! wow... really amazing draw, and I can use a bit more herb (nods to @ataxian & @Caligula ) which helps me get fully medicated faster.

Works marvelously with my J-hook, too! no adapter needed!
I just received my adjust-a-bowl 14mm gong, and can't get the screen in - TOO F'n TIGHT to get through the top. I tried scrunching the screen in all around the circumference of it and trying every which way to fit/stuff it down the gong opening - dome up/dome down -NO GO! WTF!!!??? Did they send me the wrong screens? Any advice for me? Please!

Hey snappo, do you find the 14mm tight around the heater?

Excellent laboratory test question! As a matter of fact, the 14mm adjust-a-bowl is ever-so-slightly looser than my 19mm glass gong.:hmm: Thanks!

@biohacker - Yup! Tried going through the bottom...no go. Thanks!

@SSVUN~YAH - also tried to try that, but WAY TOO TIGHT! Thanks!

Does the GonG fit around your nano's heat port? The screens should be the same size.
Yes - the GonG fits without a problem. Matter of fact as I mentioned above, the 14mm adjustable GonG fits the heater rod a tad bit looser than my 19mm glass honeycomb screened GonG.

The screen wasnt installed into the gong from the get go? Do you have extra basket screens?

I've only got the 18mm "adjustabowl" gongs but my screens also fit my all glass 14mm gong. FWIW, I've tried a few different screens and they all fit the same.

That said, does the screen fit your all glass gong?

Interesting, mine was very tight. I just tried it again to make sure I'm not crazy and it doesn't slide in with out the use of force.

The 14mm adjustable screen gong does not come provisioned with a screen, I don't believe - just a silicon sleeve. I have been trying to insert the screens that they supplied me with from a prior order. They are all the same size. Do your screens go in fairly easily, or do you have to fight with them to get them in? My fight with the screen rewarded me with a cut finger, a scrunched-up screen, and a screenless gong. The mystery continues!:\

Are you inserting yours from the top, or bottom - dome up or dome down? I've tried all ways except sideways - no dice. Thanks!

Always insert from the bottom. There is a notch in the glass on the top portion of the gong which prevents/hinders the movement of the screen.

You can see said notch here, a few mm above the top of the packed load:

As for insertion (heh), it goes in without much fuss if I push it up there with a chopstick or flat end of a pen. Hell, Ive even used that orange flathead screwdriver you can see in the background there.

The opening on the bottom of the 14mm adjustable screen gong is smaller than the top opening, and absolutely will not accept insertion of a screen this size no matter the method or effort. Very weird! I'm beginning to doubt my intelligence and sanity.
Could this be a belated April fool's joke on a veteran FC member?!?:lmao:

I want to order an exotic E-Nano. I tried emailing on epicvape but no response. I guess I will give them a call Monday. We were at the casinos today and the wife won 420! She said I can order my little thingy I wanted.:love:So why isn't there an option to select Exotic? I am not in a hurry because I am not sure which cord I want. The new style looks cool.

cawshook

Solod out.
What are the different types of cords? I've been drooling over this vape since Christmas, when I actually ordered it, then cancelled. I've been keeping my VAS under control, but its time to get an e-nano since I've switched to exclusively vaping.
Adjust-a-bowl gong is it popular here? I'm leaning towards the all glass. Are the stock stems adjust-a-bowl?

With regard to the voiding warranty note on the replacement cords. This is just Andy doing his due diligence as a business person and makes perfect sense. When someone opens up their device and replaces key electrical components, they can make mistakes which can damage these/other parts. If this happens too often, things could get very expensive for Andy if he does not warn people that they will void their warranty and he has to replace this stuff for free.

That being said, he was gracious enough to send me a replacement cord for free self-repair when I needed one due to very early user error (my own). I think it is sweet that the option is now there for users to just buy the component at a reasonable price, no questions asked. Hope it continues :D

Re: differences between cords. The older Nano cords before the v1 cord currently for sale on the EV site were shorter, had a different cord support sheathe and the dimmer was slightly closer to the main unit of the Nano. The newer cords (that I was sent to replace my older one with) are longer cords, the dimmer is further back from the Nano on the cord, and had different cord slack retention sleeve (or whatever it is called lol).

The V2 is a detachable cord, using a two prong connection at the back of the Nano. It is not yet clear what the detachable cord/dimmer look like in this version. I am excited to find out! :D

Also, I prefer adjust-a-bowls to any other GonG. The basket screens are reusable and last forever so long as you don't mangle them too much. The new thickened glass is super strong, has great airflow and allows the screens to be moved around very easily but without moving your load while vaping.

The all-glass screens are good, however I find that you have to either adjust your grind or add screens/something else to the GonG to ensure that small bits of bud/kief don't go through the holes in the honeycomb filter. YMMV

Makes perfect good business sense to me now that I have seen the item and description on the website, along with your explanation made on behalf of Epicvape, which I appreciate. Thank you! It is certainly a nice option to have available.

OK good folks ...I'm a f'n idiot:tinfoil:. The screen is in! Apparently it is supposed to go in dome-side down ...not dome-side up like it appeared to be to me in the website pic below. Just slid right in when pushed with the end of a slim bic pen. Before, I struggled to no avail to stuff it in and down the top, dome-side down, but with fingers only. Hope I got it right. Thanks to all who tried to help out.

This website pic ^ looks like dome-side up to me???

Oops-Damn, I double posted:-(

@Snappo some people prefer dome up others think dome down is better. Having tried both ways, I'm under the impression that it doesnt matter much in either case. Not sure why it would fit one way and not the other however.

@Enchantre try this if you can...

Ive found that a VERY loose wrap of cotton works best. I try to pull the cotton apart so you can basically see individual strands (e.g. very thin). I then, gently wrap the cotton around my concentrate like... well I guess like a spider wrapping up a bug it caught or something. I try not to make the wrap tight at all.

By doing this you should be able to be able to get a large enough volume to fill the width of the gong (needed so airflow doesnt just go around the cotton) yet it will be loose enough that you should need VERY little cotton and that air will pass though the cotton fibers like a wiffle ball.

Crank the heat up to 9 or 10 then SLOWLY inhale until vapor builds thick then hit away as needed! If it works you should be able to get a MASSIVE hit (or 2) in very little time with no scorching of the cotton.

@Enchantre multiple GonGs are the best, aren't they?!

Having 4 GonGs is the best decision I ever made! I generally have 2 loaded with flowers at any given time and then one dedicated to kief and one dedicated to oils (SS wool w/ dab on it inside an SS capsule made out of two Nano screens). I can always medicate quickly, either dry or with water using the same 19mm gongs (either bubbler or Gspot Steamroller).

Depending on the results I get with the Persei, I might just retire my oil GonG and let it become another kief GonG. :D

@Snappo your screen might have gotten squashed in a way that it doesn't fit properly. I have at times done this and spent the best part of a couple of hours reshaping the screen so that it will fit back in the GonG properly!

I am sure there is a certain sized head on a regular SS nail you could buy from the hardware store which would allow you to reshape your screen properly :) Just bring a clean gong to the hardware and see which nail head is closest to the inner diameter of the GonG, then reshape the screen around the nail!

Hope this helps :)
