I think you'll find that it'll meet any and all needs. Once I got mine I cleared out my whole collection. My nano is my only vape and I couldn't be happier. Best dry, best wet, and not to mention nano-dabs are freaking heaven!
Very excited, especially since I just got some budder to use with the dr dabber I ordered, but I'm sure it would work wonderfully with the nano.

Chrisbkreme,

canj00digit?

All my days in a daze...
I had to really push myself to pull the trigger, but if lives up to the hype this will probably take the place of my Cloud+. Heat up time is so quick.

You fellas aren't making it easy to keep my credit card in my wallet... don't say stuff like that. It's cruel.

Haha they also aren't making my wait any easier. I opted for the walnut version which won't ship right away, and thought it would be easy to wait since I really like the color. It's much harder than I thought haha

Im dreading sending my nano back to Andy for a tune up. Ive been slacking on that for almost 5 days now...

Me too!!! So tempted to just pull it apart and do the tweaks myself. I'm figuring if I get a good session in, I could have it apart and back together by the time I'm ready for my next.

Tempted.... but still holding off.

Sadly, I have an OG unit and it requires the replacement of the temp dial due to a cracked housing and the numbers wearing off (quite irritating).

Cracked housing sucks.

Mine is OG, too. The worn numbers are annoying, but I added some white nail polish on my fav spots so all good!

Assuming you'd also get the heater tightened and new safety features in the bottom. Yeah? Did you get a price from Andy for the tune-up? Or, all included as warranty?

I just don't want to be without mine for a day - no less a week or 2!

Get a backup. That thing is worth it. Never thought I'd say this for a device with plug.

Seriously, the thought of my Nano failing somehow, or me loosing it, made me get a backup

Not that I think it breaks easily, for the record. That device seems very sturdy to me. I just could not stand the thought of being without it.

We're blessed for being able to enjoy life like that. thanks and praise for the sweet mary jane, and thanks to Andy for the amazing Nano

IIRC, Andy honors lifetime warranties for FC members... or at the very least he told me to just send it on in.

@Dafni, I have the Solo and my oil pens as backups... I just hate to be without the Nano even for the 4 days this is going to take.

Hmm, what temp setting do you use??

I have no experience with your brand of cotton, but I never tasted anything on mine. At least not since I got some organic medical grade cotton from a pharmacy.

I have yet to try the naked cotton alone in a Nano gong on max setting, but I had a wad of that stuff in my EQ at 240°C for a while and could not detect any taste.

Maybe you could try those degummed hemp fibers?? It's on my list as well.

And BTW, those "stones" that MileHighLife posted look like thay might work. Get a glass gong with the pinch, and manually file one of those down until it fits perfectly on that pinch... sounds like it should work.
I imagine with a strong enough torch it should not be too hard to "spot-weld" it into place should you wish to do that.

cheers

Depends. typiclly 8 to 8.5, however I use the adjustable screen to move the cotton closer/further. As for what I use, I have this stuff:

http://aqualabtechnologies.com/mcfinn-s-organic-cotton-60-filters.html

Although, I also tried with organic cotton balls from the local corporate owned hippie-mart with the same effect. Basically I get the same flavor (aftertaste really) at the end of the dab. Its what I ASSUME is the cotton, since I can taste this at the end of the dab regardless of what Im dabbing. Its very feint, but I cans till notice it.

awh man, I should have been more clear: get a Nano as backup! :p

i see your point though, cheers, and I agree, being Nano less can't be healty. once you got used to the ease and performance....

would love to test some alongside you. wonder if you'd taste the same on my setup here. I cannot detect a difference between dabs off cotton and dabs off a glass frit or steel wool. But usually I keep the nano below setting 8, say 7 to 7.5 for small dabs in shallow bowls. And I don't go too crazy towards the end, rather just reload

Man, this piece looks so good. I was leaning toward either the Vapolution 2.0 or Xtreme Q (depending on my wallet in a month hehe) but this is definitely looking right for me after doing some exploring! It's so difficult to trawl through such a large thread. I was wondering if any of you E-Nano experts could help me with making this decision. Firstly, is it good for vaping hash? Here in India, we get some great charas, both soft and creamy/ hard and brittle, and my current concentrate tray + MFLB setup is nice but does seem a little bit of a stopgap arrangement - I aren't getting everything out of the hash - and I find myself using it mostly for herb. I was looking for an easy desktop vape that does vape hash, and this seems great. How does it work with hash, exactly? Do you have separate attachments or do you sprinkle it into the weed?
Secondly, can it be used with a car adapter?
Thirdly, does it have a lot of accessories that are more or less necessary that you have to buy extra, and buy regularly? This becomes a big problem for me with international shipping prices! :(
Fourth, is it easy to hook up for groups of friends who aren't familiar with vapes?
Fifth, are there any cons I ought to be aware of?
Lastly, are there any good deals on this in terms of international shipping and accessories, maybe specials for FC members somewhere?
Thanks for your time guys, I may just be more of a bother and shoot you a few more questions after! :D

EDIT: Do you have to pay extra for a lifetime warranty?

SECOND EDIT: Wow, so www.milkyvapes.com has a great deal at $180 ostensibly including shipping to India (I recalculated according to location on the website and it still says free shipping, so...)! That seems like a clincher to me, just want to hear answers to my questions first and opinions - especially about milkyvapes.com's legitimacy, if anyone has experience there!

WOW!! So many questions. Will try to answer what I can.

I have an EQ. It's nice and super versatile, but sees very little use since I got my nano almost a year ago. For me it is an easy choice - the nano wins hands down! All the way around, but especially for flavor and efficiency. Don't think I've tried a Vapolution - but will tell you same as everyone else who asks... GET THE NANO!

I've vaped a little bit of hash in mine - more the hard brittle type. No problems whatsoever. Would think softer/creamier would be even better. No separate attachments for hash really (like the tray for MFLB). I did it with nano inverted on a water tool so any goo would go away from heating element of nano. No problems and it didn't get too messy, tho required a screen cleaning after.
EDIT: Should make this more clear... needed 2 screens to do this. One above and one below. So... you need another screen.

Others have posted that a car adapter can be used, but I haven't tried it. You would need something to take the DC car power to 120v AC. Pretty sure India AC is 220V (or close). So, you would also need a stepdown converter to run nano at home as there is only a 120v version. Suggestions are here in the thread, but IIRC the main consideration is watts which you want at 50-75.

You will want to get special glass stems to use with a water tool. They're pretty cheap and I would suggest just getting what you want at same time. Two different type screens in glass stems (either dry or for water tool). One has a glass screen built in. Very nice, but size of holes will let fine ground material through. Other option is glass stem with ss screen you put in. Have both but usually use the ones with ss screens. If you get this, definitely get the basket screens!! And pick up a few extra. They're cheap!

Very easy for friends to pick up. Not like MFLB at all. Only downside is that you have to sit close as the cord isn't very long (6 ft/2 meters) and unit has to stay plugged in.

Cons? Not really other than power concerns you may have because of 120v, and maybe the length of cord. But, you'd probably pick up a little more with converter - and extension cord can be used if needed.

Deals? 5% discount code is FCLOVE. Pretty sure it applies to international shipping ($25?), too.

Don't know for certain if lifetime warranty is available, but pretty sure it comes with 3 years. Should be plenty IMHO.

Strongly suggest you check out the thread. Most of your questions and more are answered - repeatedly! Use the search function and click "Search this thread only".

@flotntoke
Thanks so much for some informative answers!
I'm still a little confused about the hash -do you not have to crush it for increased surface area? Won't fine particles get in your mouth, then? Or do you put in nuggets? I just broke my massive bong (let's not get into that, the offending curtain that knocked it over has been burnt in retribution; it's a sad, sad story) so I don't know if I see myself purchasing new glass in the very near future. Is it possible to hit hash through the stem directly without water filtration?
Conversely, is it possible that the hash will permanently clog/damage something?
you're correct about Indian voltage, although I have to admit I'm ignorant as to what voltage my car provides. I'm sure I can get a converter for the power here. I think I ought to have bought one already for my MFLB battery charger as well, now that I think of it... :uhoh: I use my LB for at least three/four trenches a day, but even then my batteries die out far too quickly (a month and a half in).
I don't know what basket screens are - a lot of times we just name things differently, being from different sides of the world! Are they like the normal screens used when combusting in bongs?

I didn't crush mine.... just crumbled a little bit. Nuggets? Yeah, I guess. NO... you won't cause damage or clog anything. Just made the screen a bit messy.

Yes, very easy to use in the dry stem. Probably a little better.

Get some more glass! It's very inexpensive from China.

Not sure, but think using 110v charger on 220v electric will be very bad for the batteries.

Basket screens just a new thing for the nano. They are on the epicvape website under accessories. Here . Kind of hard to explain, but simple to see when you have them. They can be used in dry stems or for GonG stems.

Yet another reason to pull that trigger tweak!

I did last night. Of course I picked the OOS wood. Good thing customer service let me change my order,

Trying to goad canj00digit? into joining "Nanoland" as Andy calls it,

Been looking at UD and HI parts all day. I liked the wooden "WonG" bowls from toastytop, anybody use them? And did Ed’s TnT ever make wooden stems? I checked his site and couldn't find any.

This is my first log, I'm so giddy. Trying to tread through this thread when I can.

Just letting you know the underdog Parts dont fit the e-nano. I have a direct draw 14mm stem that has been sitting in my closet since the day I got it because they thought it would fit an e-nano.
