Pax v Solo smell

Hi everyone,

I'm really sorry if this has been asked before; I've tried to search and can't find anything specifically about this. I own a Pax and have mixed feelings about it. I've had it for a year or so and definitely haven't mastered it yet. One thing I'm not crazy about is that it is fairly smelly; because of the way that it heats, it emits vapor while heating and after use. (I have figured out how to draw after it's off, etc, to minimize the problem.) Since I wanted a portable for use in hotels rooms, this is a bit of an issue. So here's my question: is the Solo the same way? Does it produce the same level of smell? I'm not looking for perfection; I know that vapes are not odorless.

Thanks!!

I dunno about the Pax, but my Solo doesn't emit much odor at all. It surprises me sometimes to leave the room or go outside, and when returning there's no real smell (maybe a slight baked goods odor).

Solod out.
The solo doesnt smell too bad at all and there are means to minimize the smell. I think the water tube is one method?

I've owned both, and the Pax is WAY smellier than the Solo. No contest at all.

I sold my Pax and love my Solo.
