Best home vaporizer for me

I am eagerly waiting to purchase the new Davinci Ascent and have been expecting it's imminent release over the past few months. However I have come to realise that as I live in Europe and the release date keeps getting pushed back, that it won't be available any time soon...

So, I am looking at buying a non portable home vape right now and then getting the ascent as my portable one when it eventually arrives. My question is (as I've yet to do much research), what should I get?

My budget is around £100-150 (maybe up to £200 if it's amazing), I'm not too fussy but the more glass the better and I might hook it up to some form of water filtery thing in the future but it's not a necessity.

Basically I'm wondering if there is a stand out vape that I'd be silly not to buy or whether they are all fairly similar and it's down to personal preference. From my brief look at various websites they all look much the same...

Vapolution 2.0.. I have used and tried about most vapes out there especially home units and if i had to go back and do it all over again all I would buy is the vap2.0 and a nice portable... The vap2.0 has all glass airpath and heating oven and is only 99usd. This thing far out performs my exq as far as cloud density and flavor and to me reminds me of a glass rockzap with adjustable temp, all glass, and different bowl size options. Does amazing with tiny pinches and larger bowls, vapes very evenly, and is just all around awesome. The thread for it is chalked full of good reviews and happy customers and for the price I really think it is a must have for every vaporist unless you are splurging on a Cloud. But for the 100-350 range it is just too boss to pass up.

Silver surfer and I say that because even though it may be a bit pricy I buy almost everything I can used and there are some great deals to be had on lightly used SSVs.

Why would you suggest an SSV over the LSV?

I agree the LSV is your best bet. It is built for using with a water pipe & the transfer wand it every bit as good. Also you will not outgrow it. In the words of stickstones:

Thanks for the advice guys, both the LSV and the Vapolution look good.

I like the fact that the vap2.0 sits neatly on your desk (not interested in portability as I shall get the ascent when it arrives). Does the it have an adapter to use with water/bong?

Here in the UK the LSV is over twice the price of the vap2.0, do we know why this is?? Seems an awful lot more for not a lot of difference...

The only reason I say that is because I don't specifically care for the lsv. Bulky IMO

You are right tho, for some reason I didn't even think of the ssv as having less glass than the lsv, just the whip so for sure the lsv is more glass

the vap2.0 is just really cheap for how awesome it is.. and you can you like and exq elbow piece to easily hook it up to water im not sure it they have an all glass water connection yet. but the vap2.0 is totally worth it super versatile and can provide monster hits from tiny amounts.

Comparing the two I like the LSV for its versatility and it's transportability. Even though the two carry bags are roughly the same size the SSV is more of a home unit to me with my tripod bubbler. I can use the transfer wand or a hydrotube out of my LSV bag, and bring the wp adapter along with me as well.
