Anyone know of cost-friendly concentrate tube options? My friend gave me some concentrate and I would like to get the most out of it. I would love to get one from Lamart, but I can't afford that right now.

Thanks in advance!
Usual tube works fine , suspend the concentrate in a medium in it such as a few gauze screens or hemp fibre or flower for example and off you go, that's my most common way of dabbing in the bakx 👍

Hello ppl. Hope this helps someone, maybe someone already said it and I was really slow to think about this just now thou, lol, here I go.

I was having to clean my Bakx too often, around after every 5 days and it was getting annoying so I went with the idea of turning the stem the other way and heating it with the Bakx, always with the stem looking down so the stuff dribbles down toward the bong and not inside the Bakx. I stopped when the reclaim was close to the edge of the stem. Then I turned the stem to the proper side and put some weed in it and vaped it, then when I checked all the reclaim was gone and the glass was clean without residues, so now I don't need to clean that often and also I guess you might just throw concentrates on the tube and it should work great (Don't have any now to try 😞).

Hope this helps someone, it helped me a lot. The Bakx hits like a train, just had my first session of the day, 2 strong pulls and I am high as a kite. Good Sunday ppl.

More BAKx incoming! Still trying to convince myself that I don’t need one. VAS is strong though…

yeah it seems like that I was spending it at first but at today's prices that's $3,000.00 us a year I have to spend on coils new vape mod .. I'm a new member hear that some how stumbled in to this thread and now I'm sad because is seams I have the wrong thing on top of my mod !😪
Does the geek vape mods support the firmware I bought that 4 years ago and daliydrive be the vape shop I worked with closed I don't remember what chip it has I quit keeping up with them not having to know every product to help people find what they actually want ... I see they are limited and believe not release just yet. I was wondering about the price point ? # it sucks being the new guy lol
Sadly this was stolen out of my car along with other items almost a year ago

Similar in some ways, yet quite different, could go into more detail in a comparison thread probably, but speaking with a focus on the BAK, there is more open-ended power and versatility although the bowl is quite a bit smaller and the heating is much more pure conduction... The quick session style, like using on demand mode in the solo, can be similar in a sense, however S3 did not seem to do anywhere near as well with a whole nug for me... Furthermore BAK is only available in the x configuration with a mod, you could get it all together set up however, it is still not really as sleek as solo although it could be quite a bit smaller of course with a single battery mod... Finally, I do really enjoy the BAK vapor quality as one of my best ever in all categories for flavor with such a simple build and pure materials/pathways, and of course the power and extraction style done this way just really slap and smack, even if it is not really one of my smoother hitting vapes, not sure I would count solo as one either, I do prefer to use both at lower temps personally however and they are both wonderful dry and impressive through water
I am looking for a vape mostly for traditional dry sift, I already have quite a few and the only ones that handle it well are always conduction (like the dynavap and the vapman) but I am looking for something electronic. I was set on the Angus enhanced or the solo 3 but now the Bakx has my interest. Would you say the solo 3 can handle dry sift in vape wool well enough to satisfy? Or is the Bakx a step above?

I cannot tell you for sure because I don't know if I've ever tried traditional dry sift? I can tell you that the Angus is not like the others, BAK would be the best imo, I tried a little bubble hash with herb in the solo and it was okay, it is a strong hybrid, but I don't know if it really has enough power and conduction to be as enjoyable? Seems like it can work, and BAK is not as easy to get especially at the moment so, safe to try it?

When you mean it is not like the others you mean it is more convection right? I considered it because it seems the balls in the chamber give it very powerful heating capabilities and it also goes to 230°c unlike most, I wonder if these things would balance out the fact it is convection and help it extract from hash better. Yeah since I am actually more interested in a AIO 2.0 version of the Bakx (I don't really like the mod vape aesthetic/function), I might consider getting the Solo 3 in the meantime.

Not necessarily, I think it is also a hybrid, when I used it, but I did not like it much at all for a few reasons... Primarily I don't think it would be good for your hash needs, because unlike BAK and Solo 3, it has metal chamber you load... I much prefer glass stem-based vapes and I think especially for hash that would be necessary for full cleaning (the balls aren't magic, and the higher temp also not so important, bak has no limitations and better heat in a simpler way for more conduction though of course but I think that is desired in this case, S3 could be fine enough it does have plenty of power and good hybrid heating with the glass stems so you can keep it upside down too) Don't want to go further off topic though since this is the BAK thread of course, would be better to ask in ask FC for vapes to vape the kind of hash you want, suggestions of what you are considering etc... There have been other threads like that already probably too

Your impressions are very much appreciated. I have done quite a bit of digging and you add some details that confirm my original suspicions. Don't mean to derail the main topic but I feel this information might be useful to someone else as well.

Im looking to get a Bakx soon and seen that lamarts shop was close but cannabis sommelier has some complete setups. Is it best to wait for his drops? Are they harder to get? Are they cheaper?, or should i just pull the trigger or one of these sets that are available at CS? . I do not have any mods and from what i am reading if i understood correctly is this kit comes ready to go out the box from them.

Also anybody got a link to the lamart discord please and thank you

If you are dead set on getting a bakx I see no reason not to go through CS because the pricing is similar enough. These units appear to come with a preconfigured mod, stems, an extra cap and other goodies and are not much more than what I spent buying direct on the last drop. Still not sure what the “roor smooth” is? A water pipe?

The drops sell out extremely quickly so if you see one you like I’d pop on it. I got lucky on my first drop but not everyone is.

Yeah if you need everything, getting the full kit from CS is nice, it does seem a bit expensive, but all things together it could be worth whatever little extra depending where you are located... And yeah you don't have to rush in with the drops, possible to get some basic units for less, possible to find mods for less, but more work for you and such

I have been thinking about it for a while and will have enough extra cash next paycheck and thought I should get one finally. more cause its ready to go out the box.

I'm not sure what the roor smooth is either but I highly doubt its a water pipe but who knows.

it does seem a bit expensive around $740 USD shipped but i think it would be worth it after owning so many vapes being satisfied with only a few and downsizing my collection to just the tm2 and the fw9 I think the bakx would be a nice fit. I did ask Ralph about his drops but he mentioned his next one wouldn't be to soon at least not until he got back so maybe I should just go this rout I could like you said possibly get basic units, mods, etc for less but it would def be more work on my end

Yes exactly, I think TM2 and FW9 are such a fantastic portable pair, and I feel the same way about TP80 and BAK, these are my four favorites that I rely on a lot

Yeah exactly, it'll be a wait, and then a bit of random luck if you can even score one then or potentially in the used market...

Ive tried to score a p80 before with no luck so I know trying to get a bakx on the used market will be nearly impossible and if it is it will be sold by the time I see it. and trying to score on the drop I'll need lots of luck on my side that's another reason I'm thinking CS will have to be my solution plus it comes with everything except a whip but everything else is included

As someome who vapes lots of hash/sift/bubble the way the bakx works is the best electronic device on the market imho. If you want to test the water buy a vaponic and if you like the results then the bakx is very similar but electronically controlled.

The vapcap and vapman come in close seconds

Roor smooth is just the basic straight glass stem.
The set is a bit thin with extras (2 waterpipe adapters are overkill, which can also be build with the basics straight stem and the orings..), two dry stems, and an ubanger. This is not worth the additional price. But the price is totally worth it to get one without the drop system which is very hard!!

Thank you for the explanation. After searching the site for roor I see the “plain roor” for the tinymight as well. The only advantage I saw was at least it came with two caps (at least on the unit I looked at last night) but again that doesn’t justify the price. The conscience however absolutely does for anyone who understands sweating through those drops.

The water pipe adapters I prefer over the orings. I normally use a whip and so having that stable connection is key for handsfree use. I will occasionally still use them when I have filled a stem and decide last minute I want to use a water piece but for the most part they stay stored away.

is this thing on?
The Bakx delivers so dense vapor that you can easily blow vape rings with it from full nugs - without scorching the load. I don't know if there is another portable that can achieve anything like that. I'm not owning ball vaporizers but they probably can? Dense vapor has some benefits, I do like it a lot with this device.
