yeah he is for real

he did some shit a while back with some Brittany Spears albums the day they were released.

something like swapping out her CD for his or something and the cover art... im pretty sure it involved him physically going into stores and swapping them out... i cant remember exactly.

i do remember it being pretty damn clever though

that guy is great

now if we can just get him to start throwing up "legalize it" type stuff we'll be in good shape :brow:

just a few days ago i noticed something on the way to work and snapped a pic, didn't think a great deal about it but seeing this thread makes me wonder if it was banksy inspired in some way.

at first i was thinking "rip cd's" as in ripping them...but clearly if its a tombstone then its "rest in peace", perhaps something to do with mp3's, i dont know for sure...was interesting.

that is certainly it... look at the headphone wires from his head down to the ground... isnt that an ipod?

pappy, yes it does appear to be an ipod or similar, here is a closer pic of it. it was painted on a concrete water tank on the backside that only a few get to see as the sidewalk near it is rarely used.
