30mm axial coils will be back in stock this week and I wanted to let you all know I will be out of town starting next week for about 2 weeks. I will be responding when possible, but will be delayed at times. But I promise to get back to anyone, it just might be delayed =P

Anyone who has not entered the giveaway needs to. Its a serious haul for anyone to scoop and super easy to enter https://www.instagram.com/p/Bwf9T7Ehi9c/

Will be bringing on some sweet titanium swords and dab tools from my man https://www.instagram.com/710swords/

He has also been etching some of my bangers and selling them. So hit him up if you are looking for one of my bangers with some sweet etching done. The one he did for the giveaway is eye candy =)

Other than that, I am working on the revamped website that will release in a bit with a much better user experience. I have also been building out bundles to add to the new site when it goes live. So there will finally be a bundle section!!!!

Lastly I have also been working on FAQ and other info to put on the website to help with all of the great questions I get. (Cleaning, coil fit, approved controllers, and more)

Hope everyone is having a great start to the week

SiC pearls have been selling really fast and I am taking that as people liking them and telling others to scoop some =)

Almost time for more mood mats, shirts, and hoodies. Also got a few other things in play along with a revamp of the website (Cannot wait!!!!!)

Hope everyone is having a great week so far

I have SiC pearls in my 24mm (30mm) SiC insert. They are a noticeable improvement. I have four 5mm pearls in there. Recommended. The Quartz Pi cap spins them around well.

Thanks i was mostly wondering since i didn't like the quartz pearls in the insert. How is the SIC insert ive been wondering if i should save for that or ruby?

I have 2 ruby pearls in my ruby insert and the extra mass deffinitely does a difference.

How do you like the ruby and can you drop tech ruby? Also thanks for the advice.

I like better SiC but I have my little rig with SiC and the recycler with ruby + 2 balls. I only drop tech with quartz personally, SiC should be fine but I´m always worried about hitting the ceramic too hard. For ruby is a no - no to drop tech

My new rule is to use a pearl or two when the coil is attached and without when using dat shoobtek. I draw much slower without the coil attached, so it keeps the temp a bit more stable... but makes the pearl mostly pointless. I go back and forth depending on my mood, or size of globs tho.

I think SiC is great. I have sapphire inserts as well but their fragility is bothersome for me. SiC has great flavor and I’m not worried about it breaking.

I only use my banger and insert on an e-nail setup. With my recycler and drop down, I have enough draw resistance to move the pearls around. I notice a difference in the density of my hits for sure.

ok I think the SIC insert it is. Which do you guys recommend? I've read mixed reviews about the faded space one.

Finally got to use all my gear a few days ago. Pretty happy so far. It will take some adjustment, I was definitely going for a bit of asphyxiation before. But Im making the switch for health and efficiency, and this will fit the bill.

So far Im using an auber rdk300 with an axial coil and 25mm opaque banger. I found a black bubble cap from greek glass and grabbed a few ruby pearls as well.

Now the question is what do I buy next haha

Should i get an insert to play with? Should i grab one of shanes caps? The gg cap looks great, but I like the thought of having a quartz cap and the fluting on shanes cap seems to work great to stand it up. I want it all;)
This sub is a problem on my budget.

I think I am over pearls... I find I am so focused on making them spin, it makes me inhale a lot harder than I would ordinarily.

Without pearls, I find myself just leisurely taking my time on slower, longer, arguably more enjoyable draws.

I feel I am the only person that has not fallen in love with pearls, am I doing something wrong?

Does anyone else prefer to go without pearls?

You might try reading a few posts up lol.

I had a spinner cap off the gate that was horrible and took full steam lung power to get them to do anything. I'm over spinner caps, they spin on their own fine just using a bubble cap, they don't have to be zipping around at 100mph to work. I pretty much only use 4mm pearls lately though, they spin around easier.

I haven't found a number and size combination i really like so far. I do prefer hits with the pearls to hits without, and until i find something that i really like i'm constantly trying new combinations based on size, number and material

I have found I prefer the SiC pearls over quartz and ruby just for the fact that they have no thermal shock properties like Ruby does.
Beyond that I had to make sure to adjust my temp down some since the pearls work so well.

But the biggest thing I have found is it is mostly personal preference. Some swear by pearls and inserts while others just dont see the value in them. So at the end of the day, I would recommend trying them out to make sure its something you are not interested in and you might find its something you actually really prefer =)

30mm axial coils are landing Monday and all pending orders will be shipped out the same day =)

Hope everyone is having a great weekend

I'm curious of your setup Shane, are you rocking your 30mm quartz banger with all of its surface area and glory :D or are you dabbling with these other insert materials yourself? :brow:

@invertedisdead I am smitten with the 30mm opaque and mainly dab directly on the banger. I will mess with pearls and an occasional insert drop. But the 30mm opaque is what I always migrate to =P

I tend to do large dabs and have people over for a sesh =) So I will always rock 2 controllers and keep them on whenever I am home.

Just an FYI about thermally shocking pearls, I have yet to have an issue. After every 5th dab or so, I use a 1mL dropper to put in 1mL of distilled water. Banger is still fully hot, I just finished my dab.

Using 5mm ruby/sapphire pearls, I have yet to shock/crack a pearl doing this. The smaller sized objects are less prone to shock since they contain fewer crystal flaws.

And @FlyingLow , there's no need to have the pearls spinning or even moving that fast. As long as they have some movement, they work just fine ime. In fact, I had a Gordo cap and didn't like it when they moved that fast. They seemed to sling the oil up the side of the banger and just create more of a mess. Sold it, and got a Quartz Pi and haven't looked back!

I enjoy using pearls (quartz until I get a bit more extra money) in combo with a quartz pi cap. Like Roth and others, I don't try to make the pearls spin fast, as long as they move. Currently loving the 25mm opaque with 2x 4mm pearls, 3 nice easy pulls to paradise. Main reason I'm enjoying the pearls is because I can go a bit lower in temp without adding heat up time.

Really enjoying the sic pearls, not sure if I like them more than quartz or sapphire. The other 2 are bigger and I only use 3, so it could also be number and/or size making a difference along with material. Either way they work really well, I'm a fan.

Unfortunately while q-tipping 2 popped out and I was only able to find 1. I'll have to order more when I get the ruby insert for my 30mm.

Also I dropped my quartz pi cap from about 4 feet high onto a wooden floor and it did not break. That is the second drop it's survived, I'm very impressed.

Hey Shane, any idea when you will have 25mm Pis back in stock? Specifically the Peacock color. I did find a black bubble cap to match my rig, but its glass so i dont expect it to last. Id like to compare the functionality between the two caps.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm 99.9% sure the bubble caps from Quartz Pi are in fact borosilicate. The colored ones HAVE to be. They're made from specific color variations from manufacturers of boro rods for glass blowing.

The company name Quartz Pi originally came from some of his quartz offerings, such as bangers and the like. Can be confusing at first.
