I would love to see some pics of everybodys vape station setup.

Im currently reimagining the room that my flowerpot is going in and need to find a nice desk or something. Looking for inspiration

what do you mean by meter intake? I might go with that one then. it looks similar to the one offered by their website. Also which post do i need for it?
Some glass allows you to better judge how large a pull you are taking, whereas free flowing glass like that last one make it difficult (at least for me) to judge hit size. I prefer a glass piece that has a can, I can use the milking of the can as a measure as to when I remove the heat and stop pulling. I like to fill my can once, exhale and empty the can. With the free flowing piece in your last link I feel it is more difficult to judge the size of the hit. Keep in mind the FlowerPot can put anyone away. I don’t know a single person who is a match for this vape if they go all in for the biggest bowl and rip possible they are gonna get crushed.

Good idea! Will we hear about your comparison...still waiting for your long announced comparison between the VROD+SiC and the D-Nail slim base with D-Nail Halo Sic

I believe I did kinda' provide my feedback on this (I believe in this thread as well as the d-nail one ...); to be honest I'm still confused by the results that I've gotten! There seems to be too much discrepancy in performance where there shouldn't be ...

Caution, in at least the case of mine from Popularglass (Stevelmz79 on DHGate) the dewar type joint (that is, the joint flush with the top of the can) is 1) set a bit too far down for my adjustabowl and; 2) ehhhh, not sure how good the sizing is of that joint...seems a bit big.

I do like this piece very much and use it as a bubbler for Vapcap, GH, ect....but for flower pot I personally would prefer an 18mm stemless can design with medium diffusion.

I started with the stevenlmz/popularglass mobius matrix sidecar - used an adapter to stick the joint up out of that flush spot and used a drop down on that to keep it clean. Ended up buying the stereo matrix and havent pulled out the sidecar since.

It is good, there is little drag which actually works really well for metering intake IMO but my issues were 1 - the sidecar setup meant when I pushed my lips against the mouthpiece the piece wanted to spin on the table. 2 - splash back. 3 - needed an extender for a drop down to work

Luckily I had one of the old 1 piece bowls so it worked in the original joint but I can definitely see how the adjustabowls may not sit right.

My order was finally shipped yesterday evening! Cant wait to compare the VROD and SH for myself.

BTW for future reference - went to my NV account page to check my order status and noticed that it said my original account was NOT signed up to recieve the newsletter - and it would seem once you have an account, the only way to sign up for the newsletter is by going into your account page and editing the newsletter setting. Once you have an account you cant add your email to the newsletter by adding it to the list at the bottom of the page.

@JCat, yep, you implied that the SiC with slim base seems to work better than the VRod with SiC. But you had no conclusive opinion so far as I remember?
I still have no real conclusive opinion ... this is still my experience every time I've swapped things around, but I have heard no one else correlating this, and I still stand by the fact that it makes very little sense!

I will report back yet again once I have the new carb cap in hand. Could be that ultimately it can be difficult to compare ... I prefer on a whole the Halo/flat-coil style for concentrate usage, with the direct coil to SiC contact ... and perhaps the NV SiC dish when paired with the D-Nail carb cap, due to the slight diameter difference causes a difference in performance. If this is the case performance should be much better with the NV carb cap.

A comparison of the NV 14/18 e-Nail base w/ NV SiC dish and NV Carb Cap and flat coil vs the D-Nail Halo setup should be a good comparison of the same offerings from both companies :)

When it comes to twaxing or flower consumption, obviously the D-Nail is irrelevant as that is where the VROD is unique, however, I'm interested in the comparison for strictly concentrate usage.

Yea, I notice a big difference between the performance of different type of waterpipes. The sidecars and
bubblers that work so well with my portables just don't satisfy when I use them with the FP. I like this one which is similar to the one offered on the NV site.

@kilo - that's the one I switched to!

I also have a kind creations stemless tornado straight tube that it works really well with too but I prefer to leave the piece on the dresser so the bent neck of the stereo matrix works better with my current set up.

Forgot to mention, 6 4mm sapphires and 2 5mm sapphires on the way from swissjewel as well. Super stoked to try the sapphires + sic dish + spinning action of angled carb cap all at once!

I wonder if an angled hole above the dish in the showerhead carb cap + quartz/sapphire/ruby pearls in the dish would make the SH a better dabbing apparatus.

I love my slim line with SiC. I'm very happy with my assortment of concentrate devices, Liger 2.0 with SiC, the D-nail, and 710coils.com's opaque quartz.

I have used a VROD, but don't own one. My FP SH is for flower only.

But the flowerpot will still work with the one I linked?

Here is my vape station.

Portable enough around the house since it is on a tray. Just unplug the Kube1 and move to new location.

Nice and mobile. We also have our household Flowerpot stationed permanently on a wooden tray which slides under the armchair. But I have thought of another idea for you now- have you considered getting a trolley? I like the idea of wheeling the Flowerpot all around the place- every room, every lap.

A rolling cart is genius! Whenever I end up in a house vs apartment I'll consider that. The tray is a good alternative too, I had a big plastic tray under mine but eventually just moved it to right on the table. Wood would definitely be a better choice though.

I'll take a pic of my setup when the VROD comes in.

I placed my order on the 22nd in mountain time, like 1am the 23rd eastern. Got a confirmation email at 520am the 23rd and for some reason another on the 24th. Then shipped Monday, with it actually hitting the post office Monday night. Supposed to be delivered to me Friday!

Hope everyone is well and you are enjoying your FPs!

Short answer: yes it can do what you want, but you might need to stir depending on the temperature you set it to.

You can take huge long draws or short fast ones with the FP, but you’ll need to adjust the temperature and experiment to find what works best for you.

At higher temps, you can load 0.1g or less and extract it in a couple of short fast draws (you’ll probably want to stir to get full and even extraction) and you should still have plenty of room for other air in your lungs.

I’d get whichever size bowl you need for your glass, or if you prefer just get the 14mm and use an adapter when you need to.

The way the PanHead and ShovelHead bowls are set up, at the level of the screen and flower the bowl is exactly the same. The 14 or 18mm post is *below* the screen and has no noticeable effect on performance for me.

I would add that the glass piece will be the key to regulating your intake of vapor, unfortunately it's very difficult to say what blows me away will work for you. I do like the double matrix piece NV caries.

@Ducksauce7 that Mobius in the last link would be very free flowing and prove very easy to get massive rips, but also difficult to meter intake. I cannot speak for the other two.

Thanks for the replies

Mine that I ordered on Sunday had a shipping label created monday but hasnt moved passed that.

Understandable but damn its a tease! Would be amazing to have it by the weekend

Same here. Ordered on Sunday, received tracking number on Monday, and hasn't updated since. Last USPS status indicates that the shipment has been received, but package acceptance is pending.

I spoke to Lori via email, she said they are having trouble shipping to Canada because of the canada post rotating strike, she said they are looking for other providers.
