But it works fine and is perfectly safe if the two halves are not fitted perfectly due to coil connector diameter. Just wrap the twine around it and you should be fine.
Thank you for the reassurance @Baron23 :D
You have exactly described the issue that I was concerned about

Flower gave you full spectrum effects.

That oil didn't.

That's the appeal of this vape for me.

That's why I tend to avoid solvent extracts, pretty much only rosin for me at this point for that reason. Need those full spectrum synergistic properties to get my moneys worth.

And based on the lab analysis, the sugar should have given me a full spectrum effect. The lab indicated it had 1.8 mg. B-Caryophyllene, 5.7 mg. Limonene, .5 mg. Linalool, .6 mg. Myrcene and 1.6 mg. Pinene. Although there were no traces of CBD or CBN. It was rated at 78.3 THC and 78.5 THCA.

Those are just a handful of terpenes, realistically cannabis consists of over 100 cannabinoids and terpenes, plus an entourage of other biomolecules not yet researched or tested for. A live resin hydrocarbon extraction is basically just THC and some monoterpenes, a pretty shallow extract overall. If you're a long time toker used to cured buds, you might find a lot of these "live" extracts feel less potent than something produced with well cured starting material.

Well, that might explain my situation. Just as well. I prefer flower .

Gyro Gearloose at work - great!

And when will come the comparisons?
Comparisons are coming :) ... a little delayed as my VROD wasn't working right (assembly issues!) ... so couldn't very well offer a comparison when I knew something was up ... didn't make sense that I needed to turn up my controller by >150F then I did before to get not as good results ... didn't make sense that only the dish would cause this ...

"Not sure if you saw my edit before I posted it, but if you are an older toker used to cured buds, you might try to find something made from cured starting material instead of the trend for "live" extracts currently in demand."

Thanks, but Im going to stick with weed. There are so many fine choices here in Vegas that I feel good about crossing concentrates off my list. They are to expensive, they ruin my tolerance and they dont work on me anyway ;)

Replacement V-Rod came in.
I received the coil, V-Rod, sic dish and carb cap as my original V-Rod was fused together, it was stuck and there was no way of getting it off the coil. This is a known issue in the first rev., if you have it happening, email newvape.

The latest rev looks really great, it went together very well over the coil, Flush.
It's a very smooth and Powerful using experience :)
Thanks a ton @NewVape710 for all the great support ive received from you guys, Lori handled this exchange and I must say
its been a smooth and utmost fair communication. Thank her from all your Reddit friends please.
This is an outstanding and finely crafted piece!

Tried searching through but what is the consensus on the lollicap and VROD? Worthwhile if I already have the VROD cap?

How does the lollicap do at spinning balls?

I can’t seem to make my balls spin with the VROD cap as so it seems. Can’t see the action. Wish there was a quartz or glass cap with ball spinning abilities.

What temperatures do people recommend for twaxing on the VRod? Using the NV controller, and 600 is great for flower with the carb cap, but I tried just a small dab at that temp, and it just.....didn't get vaporized. I know I'll have to go up, but I really like 600 for flower.

I dont have the vrod but with my experience having the head on and off the bowl makes a difference my temp will drop 6 degrees and itll take like a minute for it to start to get back to temp. But you should have gotten vapor still. How long after turning it on and the PID showing the set temp did you hit it?

Here's a quick fix for leveling the FP to keep it from sticking to the heater post.
yQWCmoU

I used a ¼x2" stainless steel cap screw. It works and offers some adjustment as well. The hex head bolt is not as elegant as I'd like so I plan to do some further customization, perhaps cutting the head off the bolt and milling a small block of hardwood to fit onto the stud.

(had trouble trying to insert an image so click the link)

These procedures are NOT necessary based on my experience with the VROD Flowerpot Rev. 3. No sticking at all.

^^^nice DIY solution, kilo!

Maybe Edwyn will come out with that elegant solution for the rest of us? Seems like something he could whip up pretty quick with his skills and equipment.
The solution Newvape came up with was the newer revision posts with longer tops
https://www.newvape.com/titanium-flowerpot-coil-post

Previously I'd leave my grinder under the handle to prevent sticking, but the new post has fixed it completely
