This an older pic and yes, that's a Liger on it. I no longer dab from this glass as I have other smaller glass that's just better for that. I think this would fit in your definition of the larger size glass you like for the FP?? Yes?/No?

EDIT: Looks like my coil isn't completely shot, just slightly uncalibrated. 535 seems to be my new 525. I've also gone back to capping and love it. The taste difference is not large enough to go back uncapped and the extra milk is great.

It amazes me how good 725 one hit bowls taste after a 525 hit. I freaking LOVE my FP!

This is Custom Creations glass...really USA made but very affordable. I believe I paid $160 from a local shop that tends to be way overpriced.

The next gen adjustable bowl testing is going well. I'll post some more closeups later. It's heavy but does not stick in the least. Yesterday I left the 650f showerhead on top for 30min and no sticking.

It somehow already feels like home It took me some time to write the Post, but that s mainly because i m a Perfektionist (that s not always something good) and i kept editing things, until i finally felt it s ok. Initial thoughts on Vapefiend's new inventory. It may be too early to say this, I have'nt done any calculations but I think it will actually be a little cheaper to order from Newvape! Not taking into account any possible upcoming sales(?).

The prices are quite a bit higher than I expected though to be honest. I hoped that $'s might equal £'s.

That way would be about equal for a decent sized order with shipping and customs included.
I may have figured this wrong, just what my gut/sunconscious is telling me.

I may want some pieces from Newvape direct (new showercap, possibly new non-stick bowl).

But I think eventually I would want 2 bowls for when I have a visitor who maybe wants to vape their own weed which I will be allergic to, to save little bits of their herb getting into my loads.

Anyway, too early to say yet, and Im too tired to think today. But my feeling is that I may go to Newvape for everything except controller initially. I think each individual item will work out a little cheaper even with customs, but we will see later.

Sorry if Im sounding negative, just being frank that's all.

I do find it useful for sure!!! Makes it really easy way to set the exact temp you want but it’s also easy to change on the controller itself.

Don't waste your 2nd bowl for visitors, use it exclusively for concentrates to have flavour joy yourself

Okay just for fun I did some sums.

Vapefiend: Showerhead set + 14/18 mm female bowl= £156, before the discount code which is £5 off I believe? Can't remember what the Vapefiend code is?

Newvape: Showerhead set + 14/18mm female bowl, plus shipping, plus customs and £8 handling fee= £154.

So a few quid cheaper with Vapefiend actually.
If they get the new showercap in stock soon, and maybe new bowl(?) it may well just be a little cheaper, but neck and neck really.

It will depend on any possible black friday deals, and stock options.

Edit @Hogni I won't be using concentrates ever, but I would like 2 bowls at some point.

Still rocking the OGFP 16mm and it slays me every day!
Deep cleaned my quartz dish and it's tasting as good as new! (not that it never did, just some OCD cleaning...)
Showerhead time is getting closer though...

For the OG to replace pretty much all my other vapes so easily, the SH would have to be so much better!!
I need to test @biohacker 's Showerhead ASAP!

Found the code for Vapefiend- 420 for a £10 duscount.
SO- Showerhead combo plus 14/18 mm bowl = £146.

Newvape equivalent all included costs: £154!

However, Im quite sure that if I added another 2 items, any items, such as showercap and handle/debowler (take your pick), then it would be cheaper for the lot from Newvape.

Newvape order, customs included, is cheaper if you exclude the shipping.

So at an even cost as the orders above practically are, it starts getting cheaper to get a larger order from Newvape.
I dont think it would make sense financially to get the bulk from Vapefiend, and a few extras from Newvape. I think it would need to be one or the other.

Not like THAT!!! It was that 14/18 mm bowl I was dreaming abour actually, but you were there too mixed in with my CRAZY surreal juxtaposed nightime world! Some crazy shit ALL NIGHT LONG for me. Never normal dreams that can even be descirbed cos they just don't make ANY sense in this reality.

I think the female bowl represented my dreams. I had my hands on it, that was the theme I remember. Getting closer! And it was your emphatic praise and recommendation of it yesterday that must have stuck in my mind.

Usually I would just go 18mm male direct into bubbler. However I trust there are firm foundations underneath your recommendation. I don't actually mind using an adaptor if it eliminates the sticking issue, without having to choose the new two part bowl.

It is only the heaviness factor of the new bowl Newvape has hinted at that would possibly deter me.
But @Chicken #420 , did I hear you or someone say yesterday that the 18 mm bowls and 14 mm have the EXACT same inner diameter?

Im sure that @NewVape710 said a (dozen?) pages ago that he would recommend the 18 mm bowl ideally as it better matched the wide ooen airflow of the Showerhead. Or or something along those lines anyway.

This would be the only reason I would not want to choose a 14 millimetre bowl. I get the whole notion of some draw a restriction being beneficial, but I like to keep things as open and free flowing as possible.

Surely using the 14/18 mm female bowl with the adapter you referred to, will result in a narrower airpath than 18 mm male direct?
If you can confirm please, any time, much appreciated.

I also wonder what other advantage there is to the female bowl, (besides a few bucks less)?

14mm and 18mm male FlowerPot bowls have identical sized vapor-path holes.

The 14/18mm female bowl has a larger hole than the male bowls... so if you want to run the FlowerPot "Wide Open", the female bowl is the one to grab. However, the main draw restriction is going to be through the ShowerHead or WrapAround Head air holes... not the bowl hole size.

Personally, they all seem "wide open" to me... any of the 3 bowls should be fine if you are going for huge air volume. Choose your bowl based on other factors, sticking is probably going to be the main concern with this choice.

Again, I'd personally go for the Female 14/18mm... it's just all-around a great option for many reasons.

Thanks very much. I was all over the bowl in my dream last night. I am sure leaning toward this one initially. Can consider another later for my second bowl. One step at a time.

One other thing... I personally like to keep my glass CLEAN, with no particles of ABV making it into the inlet. I accomplish this by using a "Degummed Hemp Fiber Filter" which is made by simply taking a 14mm or 18mm Male-Male adapter piece with globe center, and stuff the little glass globe with a small cottonball sized wad of Degummed Hemp Fiber. This keeps the glass clean, stops ABV particles, and condenses enough oil on the hemp fiber that it is a mental BLAST (of fun! ) to take that wad and vape it in a FlowerPot bowl!



This is, obviously, easier to accomplish with the 14-18mm Female bowl.

I wonder if this would still accomodate the hemp fiber? It makes good sense actually, not just for abv, but even more so to keep the reclaim out of the glass and use it more efficiently and easily.

That style does not work so well. The globe type are widely available.
One other option... going from M-F, you can use a "Hookah Carbon Filter" which is meant to hold a small quantity of activated charcoal for a tobacco flavor filter. Replace the charcoal with Degummed Hemp Fiber to accomplish the above without switching pipe inlet gender.

Yeah... that looks real good.

Beware of adapters like this with too much draw restriction. I've tried and discarded several because they have too small of an air inlet hole, or too small of a charcoal "pinch" hole. I finally settled on some slitted dome hookah carbon filters I found on Ebay, they had both 14mm and 18mm options. Those are still a bit too tall though... so all around I just prefer the M-M globe-ball fitting when I can get away with it!

One other option... if you're using a 14mm female inlet on your pipe. 14M to 18F adapters often have adequate internal space for a wad of degummed hemp fiber.

I will keep the link handy to that one. I mean if I did get the male bowl after all, it could still be used direct into the joint if desired, so as not to be dependant on an adapter.

I will keep looking at options though, no real decisions being made yet, just pondering possibilties from any angle. That way you can make bigger decisions by starting with the small details and that kind of narrows you down a particular path, if you get me.
Really appreciate you advising me on all this big time! In this particukar thread we have so many hardcore stoners, and pro vaporists with so much experience.

All my energy and thought has gone into managing respiratory symptoms 24/7 as a way of life since 2005. It is all I have any energy or time for, and I really don't have the energy for it which is the biggest problem. Just a hard battle.

Consequently I am unschooled on many of life's topics, the world of vaporizing included!

So the knowledge to draw upon here is just awsome!

However, today has been AMAZING! I am so seriously sleep deprived and fucked and knackered beyond belief, I honestly feel like Frodo on the way back from Mordor, no joke!

If I got completely well suddenly, all Im going to do is rest, relax and SLEEP SLEEP SLEEP!
I haven't been able to do any of those things. Just hanging on really night and day.

So my point- even if fully cured, I would still be in a terrible condition for a while.

And yet- Today has been unbelivable! I said it was a good day this morning, I underestimated how much better I am suddenly.
Yesterday I felt the worst ever, real torture it was. Today is the best I have felt this year easily.

And I actually think, the lowest my respiratory infections have ever been yet, only half way through my course of medicine as well.

My nerve problem and vision was also much much better too, my mind is at rest that I CAN continue to use electricity to get well and safeguard things from (inevitable) new infections.

This is GOOD news. Seems too good to be true, but the way I feel is undeniable.
Coming together perfectly for when I have the Flowerpot, should really be 100 times better all round by then.

Those hybrid bowls though I'm not 100% sure I'm ready to go back to nail dabs after experiencing the sublime flavor at really low temps (comparatively) convection style. Effects so far seem to be on par or maybe better? I attribute some of the effects to the entourage along with the flower, but even just a dab solo in the FP on a crafty oil pad is powerful meds.
