I've got a pic, but I'm not sure how to upload it here and am not subscribed to any services to host it. I sent it to Chris at 7th floor and got a reply.
"This is normal. When you slide the transfer wand in place it will center itself. When you use the water pipe adapter, the heater cover will...
Ok, I tried spinning the heater cover and while it's still way off center, I got another 2 mm so of wiggle room. There's still friction inserting the WPA, but less. I'm hoping that's okay.
I've got another question - normally using a water pipe you remove the bowl to then pull the smoke...
Yes, I unscrewed the top. It's just inside it's so unbelievably crooked that putting the WPA on the glass heater cover requires friction and leaves the WPA flush against the metal piece with holes.
I pulled off the glass heater cover and the element beneath it is way crooked, so putting it back on didn't straighten it out at all. Taking off the metal part with holes would take care of the friction, but I'd rather not have the hot glass exposed if I can help it.
I can attach the WPA as it...
The thing is that it's way off center, like 3mm from the wall, no where near the center. This doesn't give it room to properly fit into the WPA unless I insert it crooked and it scrapes against the wall. I'm afraid that the friction is what's going to break the WPA. If that's normal though...
Just got a new LSV in the mail, but it doesn't seem right. I bought just for WPA use, but the inner glass tube is way off center, nearly touching the wall. It seems like I'd brake the WPA in short order if I tried to use it. Is this normal? I've tried calling customer service a few times but no...
