Just wanted to follow through over here. Got an email about 4 days after my report to info@vriptech.com from a CSR, and he forwarded me to Mark who emailed me about 10 days after my initial report. If you can get the lower bowl into the upper bowl and slide it up until it stops, good so far. If the orange ring around the lower bowl is pressed against the glass of the upper bowl that means you have a seal of great quality. It may wiggle a little, just like the wand's glass cover... everyone...

ordered my replacement vhw glass cover on monday, came on friday as expected however, it didn't come with neither the silicone tip nor the screw + rubber... sad becuase their site says "Replacement VHW Glass Heater Cover with silicone tip seal." and goes on to mention somethin about screws...
