It was the dial. it randomly just sparked, its plugged into a surge protected outlet. It most certainly had a short circuit or some other hardware malfunction that had nothing to do with how I was using it. It smells of burning plastic a bit. Does anyone know if I can order a generic 120v wire...

Maybe you could do a deal for us Dog owners that already have plenty of stems and accessories. Like an underdog veteran appreciation month styled sale. Heavily ( within reason ) discounted dogs that come with solely a power cord? Maybe that is a reach...but I know that would entice me to pick up...
