genius! Also re cleaning bowl, i had success cleaning the heat pin chamber with a q tip dipped in 'jif'. jif is a cream cleaner that you clean dirty pots and pans with, 'without harsh scratching..' worked a treat.

bummer, i use a silicon tube with mine, and it sure gets 'brown' after a time, mabe if i boiled up the tube and drank the water as a sort of tincture, although the idea of drinking water thats boiled a silicon tube is a bit off putting. never mind, thanks for your thoughts

when you say the bowl do you mean the removable/mouth piece one, or the fixed one with the heat pin? cos its the heat pin side that i'd love to get sparkling again!
