Hmm. It seems to fire up better after I scrape off the crust with my fingernail...but you probably know more about it than I do...
What are the signs of the arcing issue that I have heard so much about?
Does anyone know if getting the black crust on the switch-plate and screw head means I have a defective product? I received mine in april, after the supposed replating issue...
If anyone is having a hard time getting their wax to melt down into the core I'd like to share something I have been doing that works pretty well. Alot of waxes will just sit on top of the wafer and burn into a weird burnt solid if it doesn't sink into the core.
I put my wax in there and heat is...
Thanks OF, that was about as thorough of an answer as I could have asked for.....
By the way, are there any pictures of these cores anywhere that show the internals? The CAD drawing in the user manual kind of shows it........ it would be beneficial for users to have a visual of whats going on...
Do you know if adjusting the hex screw that contacts the switch plate is okay to do?
I get the black char mark on both the switch plate and the screw head, wouldn't this indicate it is too short and there isn't enough contact?...and that loosening the screw slightly would lengthen the piece...
Yes, it definitely works better, but it seems applying flame defeats the whole purpose of vaping......
The T1 was awesome with heat up time....took less than 10 seconds to get good rips
Is anyone concerned about the use of Teflon in the new mouthpieces?
If it does contain perfluorooctanoic acid like most teflon does, it can be a concern because it is considered a carcinogen when heated.
Gotcha,
I notice better hits if i spin or hold it at different angles, maybe the oil rolls around in there and hits all the ceramics' surface area
Yes but for only a few sessions....Ive had to do this a few times.
Yes. Some sort of crust builds up on both the switch plate and the screw head. I dont need to sand it though...I can scrape it off with my fingernail...I am not sure why this is happening to mine, I ordered it after the replating...I actually had to wait awhile because of this 'new plating...
Yea sometimes I have to do that.....I definitely helps. I just wish the loading chamber was bigger, it seems like the mouthpiece smashes the wax up against the ceramic. But maybe that's the point...
Sometimes the wax doesnt fully melt in and I have to help it along with a lighter...Ill try loading it with smaller amounts, maybe I am overdoing it. I usually put in a half-pea sized amount.
Hey MileHigh, what size o-rings are those? 5/8"? Where did you get them?
Does anyone have trouble firing the luna up sometimes? It seems to perform better sometimes more than others. Even when fully charged and loaded. There have been a couple of times where I had trouble, and it was a little...
