Is the glass screen absolutely necessary? Can I take it out and put a metal screen in its place? Will that negatively affect the vape process?

Whoa whooaa whoa! Haha so you use the glass jar with or without the black rubber thing, and does the herb go over or under the glass jar? Lol yaaaa I'm new to the glass on glass :) any new methods would really help

Thank you so much! I just packed a bowl and around 410 I was hitting it long but soft and it was definitely producing vapor! :) :) I was wondering though, if there is a way to prevent the herb from getting lodged into the holes of the glass stem?
