First thanks to those posters who tried to help - I did try charging using both FF and external unit - both had battery turning solid red - this was a brand new replacement battery. Tried unit out with new battery - sure enough did not make it through a single bowl - got a couple of hits ABV...

Customer service was very nice, but new 770 battery arrived and after two hours of charging the light is red. Hope that does not mean what I think it does. For the price of this device I call total bs.

I am having similar problem - Just got a Firefly direct from manufacturer - shipped with a 750 battery - thing barely produces any vap. Ok - with a fully charged battery and fresh bowl - maybe one descent hit. I called - thanks to this forum - and they are sending a new 770 battery at no charge...
