Got my replacement unit, took the first hit, ah, it's good to be back!

These are the best pics I could get, you can see the plastic around the bowl part is all deformed and melted away.

They responded to my email, apparently this is a known malfunction, albeit a rare one, that is being fixed. They'll be sending me a new unit free of charge. :clap:
