@nigel, I tried this yesterday and it didn't have any effect. From what I can tell the smoke is coming from the center of the unit where the bowl is, so I'm inclined to think it's the insulation material (mica?) that they used, but I cannot confirm without taking the unit apart.

Yes, I do have the stealth. What I would ask those who don't see the smoke though is to smell the grill on the bottom while the unit is heated (assuming a completely clean bowl of course). That's how I first noticed it as it has a definite, noticeable odor. Once I saw @thesoloman's video, I...

Ok, so I also have been running cycle after cycle to get rid of the mysterious off-gassing and I'm having no luck. It's almost like it's getting worse and the smell is starting to bother me. I was able to get a decent video of it for those that need reference or doubt its existence.

I'm going to keep doing burn-offs too, but I also am still noticing the smell and the smoke. Aside from the inhalation of the fumes, I wonder if whatever is causing it is degrading the unit in any way. It would be great if maybe DV could open one up that is also experiencing this and see what...
