This has been the general consensus, it's just a little too much work for a mod to do. They tend to overheat which is why we don't see many of them. Clean work, looks great though!
Can you try it on another power source with known good voltage? The ATM can be powered from other sources as well, like a car cig/accessory port. These modules can ingest up to 30v, and even 50 in some cases. If the power supply is soggy and won't push past a current limit, this in turn will...
The modules used in the ATM max out at 5a of current and would not be able to support a 12v 8a load.
If the iHeat can be run at a higher voltage, you can reduce the amperage it draws by increasing voltage, but it is not recommended to run devices outside of +- 10% max volt tolerance as a...
Thanks for the info! I will add something to the page about the input being on the left by default!
Glad it was something simple, I was getting worried there! 😌
Something doesn't seem right - the input voltage should always read around 24v. You have the power going into the left side, and the device plugged into the right side, correct? I know it's a dumb question but the device WILL power on if you put power to the output side. I have no idea what it...
This guide should get you going - just follow along :)
For a basic running voltage change, hit set, then click the knob in once. Once the volts are highlighted you can turn the knob. Each knob click changes the decimal places. Second knob click adjusts .1v increments and third adjusts by .01v...
I also moved to a new printing tech for the newer filament which eliminated the rough edge on the right side bevel (no more support). You can see one was printed at 45degrees.
If you're around the Rochester NY area, I can indeed pay you a visit :)
I just started offering pre-built setups that include an assembled simplex, 24v 6a PSU, and at a heater interconnect. All you add is the heater (woodscents, HLT, vapbong, herbo, etc)
Those can be found here - https://refc-labs.com/products/advanced-telemetry-module-prebuilt
I can totally hook...
If you were referring to the blue prebuilt, it will get restocked this weekend, customer requested a black shell so I'm printing that now and building another. I'd be happy to let you know when I re-list that one. (This one is new filament which is a slightly brighter blue).
I'll have them added to stock as soon as I have them in hand (should be this afternoon). You'll be able to purchase individually. I can also add them to an existing order and you'll just receive an invoice for the difference. Either way, I can help out. If you want them added to a current...
Right angle and 5.5x2.5mm adapters are not included with the standard simplex package or kits. I have a bunch of stock inbound so I can offer them as a nice-to-have. I haven't listed the right angle adapters yet but they'll be up soon.
The E-Nano runs on 120v mains and is unfortunately not compatible with the ATM.
I just listed the adapters needed to use a Collyland product with the ATM - I've only got a few in stock but more on the way.
