That's a nifty custom hopper dock but I would be careful storing your hoppers with the front end up, especially a warm unit as all of the oils/resins will eventually work their way down into heater and that delicate temp sensor..
I just fine grind my herb , tamp it down well and push a screen down on the top..the screen will fold taco style into the bowl and hold the herb in place nicely..i get nice thick clouds with any amount of herb with this method
There really is no limitation, you select your temp to set your heat limit and you can then throttle the heat button on and off to control the temperature..this is a convection vape, it requires a bit of technique..if your looking to be spoon fed vapor get a crafty
The only thing the preset temps will do is cut off the heat at the selected temp if you were to hold down the heat buttons..just like the ff1 did at 400. Basically making it dummy proof so you don't burn your herb
I own 2 ff1's they are are my go to daily drivers but Im reluctant to pre order a ff2.with the new batteries being compatible with the ff1,there is no reason to spend the money on it just yet.. I like the weight and styling of the ff1 and vapor quality is top notch if used properly..the ff2...
