So you guys are putting a screen on the top of your herb? This helps make it hotter or more even or something?

Ive had a few weeks with the 770 battery they sent me and it seems to be working. The 750 battery displayed a solid red light while charging so I set it aside and haven't used it since. The 770 battery has only displayed blinking blue and solid blue like it should.
