You do not need this. I purchased mine in a local shop and got no receipt. I had no problem getting a replacement one, however the first time they did ask if I purchased through Ploom.

Maybe a DUMB question, but... Just got my Pax. Popped the 'screen' out, and it doesn't...
For smell, my boyfriend who is co owner of the Pax, says the second gen smells less than the first.
I dont notice as much as he does, but to me it was pretty similar smell.
They sent me the replacement without me sending the original first. (I do have to send it back however, but I was still stoked to not have to send it first) & it's a She lol but no offense taken.

I know people have mentionted taking their PAX to stadiums, vacations etc. I went to a stadium yesterday initally going to pretend it was an MP3 player with headphones around it and once I saw they were using metal detectors I did not want to risk it going off.
