When my Ascent was briefly not working (easily fixed ultimately) I decided like you to get a spare portable. I ordered a Flowermate Mini Pro and am happy with it. Like the Ascent, it doesn't produce lots of clouds but it delivers potent vapor. Now I have two working units which is reassuring.
I use the oil jar as a spacer and the Ascent works great. The special built glass spacers were too narrow and got jammed in the combustion chamber. The Ascent actually vaporizes the essential oils from the herb with very little combustion thus little in the way of visible clouds. The effects...
Davinci sent me an email to set up the return process (I am still under warranty) and speculated that my problem sounded like a stuck button. That turned out to be the case. This is my wife's vape so I wasn't used to it and assumed a tilted in settings button was designed that way to...
Actually, after a little practice I am concluding the same. Just tamp the load down a bit and sip the mouthpiece and it works fine. Reading about cotton balls and herb flying around made me assume I would have a problem that hasn't materialized.
no idea what is causing your allergic reaction but don't give up quickly on vaporizers. Once you get the hang of them they are orders of magnitude better than smoking. Just a bit tricky getting started.
Reading all this stuff about holding the herb down is disappointing. I hoped this vape would work out of the box. Same difficulties I had with the Ascent. As soon as I got things worked out with the ascent the electronics went south. Seems like this device needs a spacer to hold down small loads...
Just got the FM Mini Pro. I use a very small amount of herb to counteract restless leg syndrome to get to sleep so I prefer to pack a small bowl to deliver 4-5 hits. I have two questions:
1) I would like to use the metal herb can but it seems like I need a high temperature to get a decent...
Thanks. That is what I did and it powered on to 375 so the reset may have worked. Unfortunately nothing else does - can't change temperature, can't power off...
I wasn't clear on which three buttons to push. I tried the three on the front before powering the device on and it cam up to 375 but I think it was going there before. After powering on, pressing those three buttons simultaneously had no effect. I also tried pressing the power button along...
My Ascent has started acting like the computer needs to be rebooted. The settings button no longer works like it is supposed to. The power button will not turn the unit off. Up and down temperature buttons cycle between F and C and the like. Is this thing done or has anyone found some way to...
Maybe I will give it a try. When I first tried I did it that way but the spacer got jammed. If I am right that one spacer was bad maybe the remaining one won't get jammed b
Well, after reading all of the spacer posts here I decided to give them another try but once again had sticking problems. Way back when they arrived I tried a spacer flat side down and it got stuck. I have been back to using oil cans since. This time I tried the "sandwich" method many here...
Yes, I took another look and realized they are the same size. It looked like a different profile when it was stuck in the bowl but I probably had it angled. Seeing that no one else has had the problem I will probably HTFU and give it another try. In case I ever get it totally jammed any...
