About the clear carb caps. I found a glass blowing outfit in California that uses schott glass ( very pure high quality) and they make a clear carb cap. Albeit with one hole. It seems to me any gap is going to conduct less heat to the sides of the dish. So if you switch to the quartz with the smaller 28mm size there’d be a gap and cause even worse performance in that scenario. No?

I have both and I use the one that NewVape now stocks pretty much exclusively. The Vrod head sis flatter and fits better. At least on the ones in my possession. They also just seem to be a little bit better made imo.
