    Ascent Vaporizer by DaVinci

Can someone post some pics of the flowers they're using? I'd never heard of the things until recently. Google searches only gets me images of huge things.

There are stainless steel scourers ... I'll try a bit of that instead.

Anyone got any thoughts about using steel wool as a filler? Steel conducts heats much better than glass or cotton. What about placing it on the bottom of the bowl ... with herb on top? Would the cool air passing through the hot steel wool make an additional "convection" effect? I dunno. I'll...

    Favorite Doctor Who?

I like the spoof "Doctor Poo" and his "Time Toilet", the "Turdis". Travelling the S-Bends of time and space. But I'm weird.

You must have the special limited edition fan forced convection model. Lucky you.

Pack it firm.... if there's any empty space ... use a spacer. Cotton works for me. Haven't tried glass flowers yet. And don't draw too hard.

As soon as that stir tool stabs into the compacted herb ... it loosens it. Screwing the cap on turns the stirring tool and makes it ever more loose. Easy enough to understand as far as I'm concerned. But each to his own I guess.

I'd say the alcohol would evaporate off very quickly... even at room temp. Just run it with an empty bowl first to be sure. I don't think putting the bowl under running water is a good idea. Electronics and water don't mix well. Or just swab it out after with a wet (water) Q-Tip.

My point exactly. removing the stir tool achieves that. Makes it "better".

That's right... BUT, after it's stirred... it needs to be compacted again. Impossible with the stir tool attached. My Vaporblunt's performance sky-rocketed as soon as I cut that stirring tool off. I still stir mid session ... but with a bamboo stick.

I've come to the conclusion that the wire bowl and stirring tool are counter productive for a conduction vape. 1. The wire bowl reduces contact the the hot herb chamber. 2. Conductive vapes need the herb packed fairly compact. The stir tool loosens the herb up ... merely by screwing the cap on...
