@Dan Morrison How many Nomad 1's were made? Trying to soothe my desire for a new one with the thought that I have a collectible first edition lol

Do anyone else's new batteries from this latest batch fit into the battery compartment really tightly? I have to apply pressure to get my new ones in, my old ones always just slid into place.

Recently started using my Grasshopper again for the first time in years. But it's really kind of disappointing now that I have the Nomad. Kinda harsh and not as satisfying a buzz. The Nomad is so much more pleasant

Haha! After seeing this I went and took the flame intake from my Sticky Brick Jr and it fits in the hole where the heater goes! I'm not gonna actually try it, but it made me smile

I can get mine that brown, or near to with the high heat. That's about what I aim for, or perhaps a shade less dark. Haven't been keeping up with the battery usage, but probably 5 or 6 bowls before I feel a need to change batteries

I notice that the Nomad is kind of like my Sticky Brick Jr. in that when I'm hitting it at what seems to be the optimal speed it makes a certain kind of whistling sound. As long as I keep it making that noise it seems to work well lol

I'm definitely gonna experiment more. Is there a maximum to how long I should hold down the button? I keep getting worried on my long hits with the high power heater that I might end up holding it down too long and overheating something.

Nomad 27 arrived today! It's beautiful. I don't have a camera good enough to take any pictures that are worthy of it. I tried a bowl with the low power heater and it was okay, but I feel like the high power heater is really what I'm going to end up sticking with because it seemed much more...

My technique is weird, I guess. I tried using the faster draw speeds like I saw people recommending, but the way I've found I get best results is by using fairly slow draw the entire hit and using the carb to control the temperature
