It's a great project! Have fun, there seems to be some strong interest! IF I were interested, I would limit my choice of adapters to one tested and approved by MF to maintain my wonderful warranty. From here it wouldn't be fair to expect MF to warranty any home built goof ups.

Powerex 9000 arrived with 8 batteries. Directions say it could take 48 hours to break in 4 new batts. Works for me since I have no LB for now! I'm actually quite pleased with the charger that comes with the box. It works very well and reasonably quick! 1-2 hours! Some email craziness is sorted...
