You're the man, howie!
Interesting, I'll have to try this. In what ways do you find it to be better than the EQ screen? I definitely get a hot spot using the EQ screen -- an off-centered one, strangely enough. But I tend to use a pretty high temp and draw for a long time.
I've been...
Thanks! Have you used your m2m with an ELB or EQ screen? I couldn't tell from your previous posts in here whether you've only used a custom bowl screen with it.
Unfortunately my transfer wand is slightly too big for the ELB and EQ screen, I have to wrap a little bit of foil around the ELB to...
Does anyone here use an m2m + EQ/ELB screen and have a pair of calipers? I'm talking to Ed (Ed's TNT) about potentially making a wooden transfer wand and a carbed m2m, but I don't have anything that can make remotely accurate measurements. My best eyeball with a tape measure is 0.5" for the...
Regarding the off-gassing -- I don't see why there would be anything wrong with blowing into the intake holes to push air through. You won't get any reverse flow from the heater.
One of these days I'll buy a lotus, I seem to only read positive experiences. How is the draw restriction? And has anyone heard word on when the new version is supposed to come out?
Has anybody gone further in taking this (or the Mighty) apart? Or successfully replaced the battery? I'm interested in getting one of these, but a few years down the road when its out of warranty and the original battery has lost its umph I want to be able to swap out the battery myself.
I think the main issue is that the holes in a glass screen would be larger than a metal mesh, so more plant matter could get through. Maybe you could do a glass screen and put cotton downstream to catch whatever makes it through. A ceramic screen would be another idea, like what Vaporbrothers...
This is really interesting to me. Intuitively it seems like the quantity of airflow is the only thing that should affect the leaving air temp and amount of vapor produced, but comments like this make it seem like there's something more going on. I wonder if the higher restriction changes what...
I've had an LSV for about a month now and I love it! I've mostly been using the transfer wand and a D020 bubbler depending on how I'm feeling.
One question though - I've seen it mentioned a few times in this thread that a smaller heater cover inlet hole leads to better performance and I'm...
